King Misuzulu KaZwelithini and his wife Queen Ntokozo KaMayisela-Zulu’s marriage is allegedly on the rocks, a mole recently spilt the tea.

Shortly after the coronation of King Misuzulu kaZwelithini last year, Queen Ntokozo allegedly moved out due to having trust issues. The King and Queen were said to have had a traditional wedding ceremony in 2021 in Newcastle. It’s rumoured that the Zulu Queen had reached her limits with her husband for leaving her alone at the palace.

A mole speaking to the publication said the Queen was spotted in Umhlanga with the prince recently and nobody would be able to ever guess that they were royals as they weren’t escorted by any bodyguards which was uncommon in the royal family.

“Queen Mayisela decided to go back to her old life after she realised that she meant nothing to the King. The King went as far as stripping her off the bodyguards as she had her own bodyguards that looked after her and their child,” the mole said.

“Recently I met her in Umhlanga with the king’s child and there were no bodyguards and they were just like other normal people. This is the first time that the wife of a king can walk in public with their young child without bodyguards. (Ultram) It’s sad,” the mole added.

MORE ABOUT THE ROYAL COUPLE
Earlier this year, Queen KaMayisela was interviewed on Sunday World and reportedly said she hasn’t seen peace in her marriage since she married the King. She denied that any of the rumours against her and her “troubled” marriage were true and reportedly suspects that someone is maliciously trying to destroy her.

“I am at my house at Pongola. I am at my home and I have never left. I have seen everything that has been written about me and I am shocked about my name being dragged,” she was quoted as saying.

‘Implemented nothing’: Zizi Kodwa put on blast over Mapimpi post

South African Sports, Arts and Culture Minister Zizi Kodwa is once again facing backlash online. The minister, who recently took over from Nathi Mthethwa, appears to have stepped straight into the same firing that Nathi could never escape from.

Social media users have accused him of doing nothing to better the arena for South African artists and sports stars. This after he shared a post wishing Springboks ace a speedy recovery after he was forced to exit the World Cup following an injury. On Monday this week, the news of Springbok Makazole Mapimpi being pulled from the Rugby World Cup made headlines.

The team’s wing suffered a “blowout fracture” to his eye socket after a collision with Tonga’s Augustine Pulu during last weekend’s match.Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Minister Zizi Kodwa shared his well wishes with Mapimpi who has reportedly been replaced by midfielder Lukhanyo Am.

“I would like to wish Springbok ace Makazole Mapimpi a speedy recovery from his World Cup ending injury. We will always be grateful for your impact on and off the rugby field,” he wrote while tagging Mapimpi and the South African rugby page.Zizi, who has been the minister for this department since March this year, has yet to impress SA with his innovative thinking and brilliance.

Like his predecessor, he faces constant ridicule and online backlash from locals who don’t see enough change in the sports and arts industry.

One person in the comment section made this extremely clear:

“That’s all you know, wish wish wish, you don’t do fokol about Sports in this country. Wish wish wish. You implemented nothing since you took over,” wrote the app user.

Rassie hints Handre Pollard helped Libbok with kicks

SA Rugby’s Rassie Erasmus has seemingly confirmed fan speculation that Handre Pollard offered advice to Manie Libbok regarding his kick accuracy. This, following the Springboks’ defeat of Tonga on Sunday, 1 October.

During the game, Libbok – who was previously criticised over his tactical errors – delivered a 100% kicking conversion rate.

While the Boks won the match 49-18 and await news of their progression to the quarter-finals, Tonga has sadly beenBoth Manie Libbok and Handre Pollard were praised on social media for their performances in the Tonga clash. Pollard – who recently returned to the Springboks following an injury and started the game – scored four successful conversations.

Libbok was called to replace Handre in the second half, scoring three accurate conversions.

In a post-match media briefing, Rassie Erasmus shed light on Manie’s game performance. The SA Rugby director admitted assistant coach Mzwandile Stick had worked with Manie to improve his technique. He also hinted that Handre may have had something to do with it.

“He [Manie] certainly has worked hard with Handre, and maybe it’s Handre who gave him a tip or two.

“I don’t think the shot clock was ever an issue with him, and Manie is a very interesting character when it comes to something like that.

“It doesn’t bother him for the rest of his game, and that is something special to have.”Rassie also admitted that the Boks were deliberating over which player to select in the squad who could potentially play in the Rugby World Cup quarter-finals.

He continued: “Handre made four kicks and Manie three, so we kicked seven out of seven. It’s a tough call we will have to make.

“If we go five/three, maybe both can be in the mix. If we go six/two, it’s a possibility; if we go seven/one, then things might look a little different”.

STRATEGY OR NOT?
Social media users have claimed that both Handre Pollard and Manie Libbok’s inclusion in the Springboks vs Tonga game was not coincidental.

According to Twitter or X users, Libbok worked well under pressure, likely because of the presence of his fellow Springbok, whom many have compared him to.

Others claim this was a “strategic move” by SA Rugby’s Rassie Erasmus and Springboks coach Jacques Nienaber.
