Housewives and Scandal! actress Sinevathi Mabuya’s who is known for playing Xolile says her acting dream turned into reality when she met the late Shona Ferguson.

Scandal! and Housewives actress Sivenathi Mabuya who is known for her role as Xolile has always dreamt of being a superstar from a young age.

 
She completed matric in 2010 left her hometown for Johannesburg and worked as an assistant at a media monitoring company.

The actress then entered into a MAQamovie competition for amateur actors, and won.

“That’s how I ended up being in the industry. I used to watch YoTV and I was a huge fan of the presenters, so much so that I also wanted to be like them.”

Mabuya adds that the late Shona Ferguson was one of the judges for the competition.

“The person who gave me my first job was Shona Ferguson.”

“He was one of the judges at the MAQamovie competition.”

“Shona told me he was working on a show called iGazi and wanted to give me a shot in one of the small roles.”

Even though she didn’t land a role in iGazi she went on to star in local films such as The Ring, The Lucky Specials, The Hot Zone, and now stars in e.tv’s series –Sivenathi Mabuya is popularly known for playing the role of Xolie Langa in e.tv’s most-watched soapie – Scandal!

She exited the soapie in September after her on-screen mother – Boniswa Langa and her on-screen-husband – Romeo Medupe got killed.

The actress bid farewell to the show to join Housewives alongside The Queen actor Loyiso McDonald, Happiness is a four-letter word actress Renate Stuurman and many more talents.

The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry will reportedly celebrate his father, King Charles‘ 75th birthday with a call after he revealed that he was not invited to the birthday bash.

 

PRINCE HARRY TO CALL KING CHARLES AS HE CELEBRATES 75TH BIRTHDAY
According to BBC, King Charles is celebrating his 75th birthday with the launch of a project designed to help people who are facing food poverty. The monarch will also be hosting a reception for NHS nurses and midwives. There will be ceremonial gun salutes to mark the day, including at the Tower of London.

King Charles turns 75 on Tuesday 14 November.

However, there have been reports that speculated that there will be a private dinner for King Charles with his close family and friends. The monarch’s youngest son Prince Harry revealed that he had not been invited to his father’s birthday party. Sources have said that Prince Harry will be calling his father on his 75th birthday, according to BBC.

This could be seen as an olive branch after there was “no contact” with Prince Harry about his father’s birthday plans.

This comes after Prince Harry refuted reports that he would snub his father’s birthday party after a report by The Sunday Times.

“In response to UK media headlines, there has been no contact regarding an invitation to His Majesty’s upcoming birthday,” Harry’s spokesperson said to The Messenger.

“It is disappointing the Sunday Times has misreported this story,” he continued.

The Mnike hitmaker – real name Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe – took to his Instagram stories on Sunday, 12 November, to post what appears to be a mirror image of the former Generations: The Legacy actress.The photo shows Thuli standing in the middle of a bedroom with her back towards the mirror to expose her new BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) – a cosmetic surgery where a doctor transfers fat from one or more parts of the patient’s body to their buttocks.

DJ Maphorisa’s post comes almost three months after his assault case was withdrawn.

The producer and BlaqBoy Music record label boss was arrested in May this year for allegedly assaulting Thuli at her Sandton home.After his first court appearance, a day after his arrest, he was granted R4 000 bail. The former Rockville actress subsequently filed a withdrawal statement on the same day. However, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) decided to continue with the case.

“We can confirm that the case against DJ Maphorisa was withdrawn after he lodged representations with the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions which were successful. He lodged representations, and upon studying them we then took a decision to withdraw [the charges].

“Remember that the complainant in the matter filed a withdrawal statement. So that meant we had to look into any other areas that we had to prove our case. Upon such consideration, the office of the director of prosecutions took a decision to withdraw the case,” NPA spokesperson, Phindi Mjonondwane said.
