Khanyi Mbau shows excitement as she receives beautiful portrait of herself done by Rasta

Khanyi Mbau shared a footage of how excited she is when she received a portrait from Rasta The Artist.

2020 ended well for the star as she got a beautiful gift which she was completely surprised when she first saw the finished project and was bouncing with joy once it was in her possession.

With so much excitement, Khanyi hugged Rasta as she receives the gift.

Rasta is well-known for his portraits of famous people and has made headlines for his work depicting actors and politicians.

Khanyi captioned the video with an excited: “Guys RASTA drew me!!!!!”

The video shows Rasta presenting an excited Khanyi with the picture and the two then embrace as Khanyi thanks the artist for his work.

The footage ends with the pair posing for the cameras and Khanyi grinning from ear to ear as she holds her portrait.

Ayanda Thabethe has taken to her Instagram to reveal one thing that she has noted in the past year.

The star revealed that everyone had a new year resolution in the previous year but was not able to meet their expectations.

A lot happened in 2020 but entering 2021 has given so many people the chance to get back to their stand.

Ayanda continued by asking her fans to steadfast and bold in their ambition.

Zenande Mfenyana Gushes Over Hubby They are so cute

She did not go into detail about how the friendship ended but the break up is taking it’s toll on her. Not revealing the identity of the once close friend who broke up with her, she said “Unrequited love happens even in friendships kanti? It’s my first time experiencing heartbreak over a friend. I guess I must take my L in peace and let her be…”The broody mom probably will not let the friendship affect her that much since her daughter is the center of her universe. The new mom gushes over her daughter a lot on social media and she does that without posting any of her pictures.

The actress also revealed that she is really loving motherhood. “This is the heaven she imagined. I see it in how happy my daughter is. It’s lovely here at mommyville.”

The new mom also said that she’d like to meet up with some of her friends from pre-school. Out of her own curiosity, she’d like to see where they are in life right now. “I have this deep longing to meet up with people I went to kindergarten with, I just wana see them and see how they’re doing and stuff you know? That’s just my curious nature playing out I guess.”

Zenande took to social media to reveal which song she doesn’t want her baby knowing, it’s the popular baby song called Baby Shark. One of the songs I’m not introducing my daughter to is “Baby shark” that song is annoying.” Tweeted Zendande. “She doesn’t ever have to know about it. Her swimming instructor started singing it when I took her for her floatation and I said “no ma’am, pick another song please”

Mfenyana will be making her big come back on the popular telenovela The Queen late this year. Unlike her friend Rami Chuene who bad mouthed The Fergusons, she is keeping her mouth shut. She has to keep her job afterall.

She did tease that she has some tea to spill, however retracted her statement when she said “Hands Off The Fergusons.”

Sjava Lands Role On eHostela Despite Possible Boycott

Post main imageDirector Mandla Ncgongwane spoke to TshisaLive about the casting of award-winning actor and musician Sjava for the upcoming season of eHostela. As a person who was on the brink of societal cancellation following rape allegations made by his ex-lover Lady Zamar, Sjava is still soaring at the height of his career.

His career took an unfortunate dip after Zamar opened a sexual assault case against him, causing him to lose out on gigs and got pulled out from acting roles. Sjava had joined the cast of Uzalo as a “trigger-happy killer” but his contract was allegedly terminated due to the allegations.

A report by City Press alleged that the public broadcaster had told Uzalo producers that they had made a mistake by casting Sjava.

Acting SABC spokesperson Mmoni Seapolelo speaking to TshisaLIVE said that the actor was given a contract for a ‘limited storyline’, “The SABC can confirm that Sjava was on a limited storyline on Uzalo, which will conclude naturally.”

Now, after the case against the Umqhele hitmaker got thrown out by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), he has appeared on Uzalo and landed himself another role on eHostela. He will be playing the character Fish who is a villain in the drama series. Mandla told TshisaLive that he admires Sjava’s work after having worked together on previous before.

“I’ve always admired his work when it comes to that, so we brought him in to basically shake things up as one of the antagonists within the story, and he’s also doing the music,” he told the publication.

With the possibility of viewers boycotting eHostela because Sjava is the newest addition, Mandla said he is not worried about such as he believes many other abusers and alleged abusers still roam freely. He believes that because his case got thrown out that will attract people more.

“People have been craving Sjava, they haven’t seen him in a while. He’s been living under this whole entire thing that has been a kind of a cloud over his life. But now he can express himself.”

In a statement Sjava released addressing these rape allegations, he denied raping Lady Zamar however apologised for the hurt he caused her. Sjava reiterated countless times that the rape accusations are false.

According to Lady Zamar’s statement done in a similar manner, she accused Sjava of raping her at a hotel in Thohoyondou, Limpopo. This rape incident allegedly happened in 2017 after a concert they had both attended.

Sowetan Live had gotten a hold of Limpopo police spokesperson Col Moatshe Ngoepe, who confirmed that the case against Sjava was declined for prosecution on November 5.

“Last year the case docket was handed over to the senior public prosecutor for a decision. On November 5, the case docket was withdrawn by the director of public prosecutions at court,” he told the publication.
