The soap started to trend as speculations over the future of Muvhango gained traction. The speculation was over whether the news of the soapie coming to an end were true or not. However, the show’s creator and executive producer, Duma Ndlovu has been adamant that the speculations are untrue and unfounded. It was suggested that Ndlovu has categorically stated that news reports should rather focus on spreading unfounded rumors about other soapies on the channel, and not Muvhango. Now it seems that it is true what Ndlovu said as the soapie proved that it can dominate the trends list. The reason is the addition of a new character by the name of Belinda Mofokeng. The character is a celebrity wedding that is well sought after. While the character could have been played by any number of actresses, in a true Muvhango fashion they chose a specific actress by the name of Tebogo Thobejane.

Before we get to the tea of the situation, let us first discuss Thobejane’s credentials. The actress is not just an aspiring actress with a dream just to support her passion, but she is an AFDA graduate. One thing about Muvhango is that it will hire an actress with some acting educational background. It is one of the things that Ndlovu prides himself with when speaking about the caliber of his actors.

But Thobejane captured audience’s attention as soon as she walked to the lift during her cameo over her posterior. The sight led many social media users to do a quick Instagram search, and just like that Tebogo Thobejane was the reason that the soapie trended. All it took was for people to see that her voluptuous body was real too have the soapie possibly enlisting new audiences that will certainly watch the soapie this coming week.

But Thobejane only follows a long list of beautiful women that have graced the Muvhango set. In the past there have been actresses like Phindile Gwala-Ngandu, Buhle Samuels, and Simphiwe Ngema. These actresses all got their foot in the industry through Muvhango and their beauty and bodies have been matters of fascination ever since.
