DJ Fresh Encourages Rape Victims To Lay Charges He denies raping the women,

Post main imageAfter being castigated for almost three days on social media for allegedly drugging and raping four women, DJ Fresh has finally broken his silence. What angered people the most, was the history repeating itself as this was not the first woman to accuse DJ Fresh of rape. His friend Euphonik was also accused of rape but he has not said anything as yet.

Speaking to IOL, the 947 DJ and radio presenter refuted these claims leveled against him, saying he is hurt that these allegations are made again. He told the publication that he does not know these women and has flatly denied raping these women.

“I am aware that assertions have been made about me on social media and I understand that this is often the price of being in the public eye. The fact that these claims are untrue and from an unknown source, does not make them less hurtful,” Fresh told IOL.

He further spoke about the widespread problem that is Gender-Based Violence in the country saying the woman who accused him of rape is undermining the legit cases that are on the rise.

“I am deeply concerned that spurious allegations about GBV , especially as it is one of the most significant societal challenges in South Africa, undermine the gravity of legitimate incidents, and impact the urgency with which they are attended. Each time someone succumbs to the temptation of using GBV to further personal agendas, the cause to eradicate this scourge takes a step backwards.“He then encouraged victims to pursue the relevant channels and lay charges against their abusers immediately.

“Please, should you have a substantiated concern or be the victim of a genuine case of GBV, I urge you to immediately go to your local police station and lay a charge. Pursuing the matter through a legal and criminal process is the best way to ensure that you get the protection you need.”

947 commented on the matter and said even though they are monitoring the matter, they are waiting for formal and legal notifications from authorities to take further action.

The accuser @Nampree had not announced whether she had laid a charge against the two DJ’s. She said although she is not completely sure whether both Euphonik and DJ Fresh raped her, she is adamant that she was raped by either of them. All she wants is an apology and for them to acknowledge the alleged rape incident.

“@DJFreshSA & @euphonik will you ever acknowledge drugging me & further raping me? I was completed drugged I don’t (know) whether you BOTH raped me or 1 of you did & you later laughed about it the next morning saying we (me & 3 girls) were so drunk we kept blacking out but nasidlwengula (you raped us)” she tweeted.

Celebrity couple, Zakes Bantwini and Nandi Madida recently got themselves crowned Liars by South Africans.

This new title was awarded them after Zakes explained a situation which seemed unbelievable to most social media users.

Taking to Twitter, the music producer claimed he knows of people who died as a result of load shedding. He urged the South African government to do better.

“I know at least 4ppl who passed today, their ventilations stopped working because of load shedding. I wonder how many ppl lost their loved ones today because of load shedding, can we at least deal with one pandemic at a time pls,” he narrated.

However, people found his story untrue, and some resurfaced Nandi’s old tweet which also caused a big drama on social media.

“Dropped off my son at school … I realized that to some of Shaka’s toddler school friends I am now “Nala”. I heard a “Wow! Shaka’s mom is a Nala! Black Is King!” the actress explained back then.

Following her tweet, many assumed she was just chasing clout with lies.

With these tweets, some tweeps believe the couple are liars, while some have gone out of their way to defend them.
