Her latest project in Beyonce’s Black Is King has helped to even catapult her career to higher heights and we are proud of her. Taking to Twitter sis revealed that she received a gift from multi-award-winning global superstar Beyonce and her team.

Nandi posted a picture of her gift on Twitter and we wonder what is inside of the gift wrap cover. This warm gesture melted the hearts of many as Beyonce said she is grateful for her “Thank you for your beautiful contribution to Black is King. I’m grateful for you Love” reads the card followed by Beyonce’s signature.

The starlet expressed her gratitude for being recognized by Queen B and her team. Nandi revealed in an interview with Mac G that Beyonce was adamant about having her in the film. She says working with her was amazing because she was kind to everyone and when she met her she told her she smells nice.<

The musical genius that has many mesmerized by his soothing vocals and catchy songs turns 33 today! Born on 21 January 1988 as Samkelo Lelethu Mdolomba affectionately known as Samthing Soweto, is one of South Africa’s most talented singer-songwriter.

His highly acclaimed song “Akanamali”, released in 2017 got him the attention and limelight he truly deserves.

Versatile and talented, he began his career with Capella and Soul in his debut album, This N That Without Tempo (2010). The cancelation of Netflix’s African original series Queen Sono, has several Twitter users foaming at the mouth as they are now calling for producers of the show to review their decision not to continue with the second season of the star-studded show.Just recently, a petition started by a fan who wanted the second season to be renewed gained momentum on Twitter aimed at saving the series. The fan said the show deserves a review in its cancelation, “Queen Sono deserves a reversible decision on its recent cancellation. Please reconsider your decision, many loyal fans were supporting this SA classic, there was more story for sure. #SaveQueenSono,” tweeted the fan.

Pearl Thusi echoed the same sentiments when she tweeted “BRING BACK QUEEN SONO PETITION HERE!” Queen Sono was the first African original series in South Africa to premiere on Netflix followed by the likes of Blood and Water, Kings of Joburg, and How To Ruin Christmas: The Wedding.

Kings of Joburg was produced by The Fergusons and Queen Sono starred the likes of Pearl Thusi and Vuyo Dabula. The last three series got thumbs up from viewers who demanded season two of the shows to be commissioned. Queen Sono and Kings of Joburg are currently trending in SA and have sparked a debate on which show the best.

Although some fans are still disappointed after hearing the daunting news that Queen Sono season two is canceled, some have weighed in their two cents defending both shows saying they should not be compared. “We’ve made the difficult decision not to move forward with season 2 of Queen Sono. The series was shot in several countries and with the COVID-19 pandemic still, wreaking havoc it seems producers of the show would have not been able to bring the storyline to life.

“We wrote a beautiful story that spanned the continent but unfortunately could not be executed in these current trying times,” said Kagiso Lediga, Director (Diprente).

Mbali Nkosi and Kaizer Motaung Jnr were one of Mzansi’s cutest couples. Well, they are nolonger together. Mbali hasn’t posted Jnr on her Instagram stories and feed and on Facebook for quite a while now.
