Orlando Pirates has confirmed the passing of a former star player – Papi Khomane – who tragically died in a car crash over the weekend.

The ex Buccaneer – who died alongside his mother and brother-in-law- was en route to a family funeral in Newcastle.

 
ORLANDO PIRATES CONFIRMS DEATH OF EX-PLAYER
In a statement released over the weekend, Orlando Pirates confirmed the death of retired player Papi Khomane.

The team described the star – who also played for Jomo Cosmos – as a “man of few words, whose presence on the pitch spoke volumes.”

It added: “His transformation from a quiet individual into a formidable leader during games was nothing short of inspirational.”

Papi Khomane joined Orlando Pirates in 1998 and made 150 appearances for the team until he left in 2007. During his time at the club, he was made captain of the squad.
He played for Bafana Bafana from 1998 to 2000 and appeared at the Africa Cup Of Nations in 2000, where SA won a bronze medal.
According to iDiski Times, Papi Khomane won two league titles between the 2000/01 and 2002/03 seasons and the BP Top Eight also in 2001.
His father, Johannes “Yster,” was also an Orlando Pirates player who played in the 70s.
After his soccer career, Papi reportedly went into framing in the small Free State town of Heilbron. According to his LinkedIn page, his last position was that of a company director that supplied oil and petroleum products.

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi has become one the most celebrated rugby players globally. He went down in the tournament’s history books against the 2023 Rugby World Cup win as the second captain to lift the World Cup twice.

The win also saw the Springboks becoming the second team after New Zealand to lift the trophy back-to-back.

On the other hand, reports have it that he has been gifted several exotic cars over the years due to his ambassadorial deals with several automobiles.The Springboks captain reportedly owns cars which include:

However, he hasn’t openly confirmed if he owns the rumoured cars he has been spotted driving.

Siya Kolisi and his wife Rachel once hogged headlines when it was reported that they have an impressive car collection worth R20 million. Against the rumours, the power couple rubbished the claims and made it known that was a lie.

British singer and songwriter Ozzy Osbourne has noted that he is content with death and okay with the possibility of not living for more than a decade after a series of health issues have taken a toll.In a Rolling Stone UK article, the legendary Rock and Roll artist opened up about his health and death. He also shared concerned his wife Sharon Osbourne was over a joint he smoked.

 

He further noted that that he has about 10 years left in him.

“At best, I’ve got 10 years left and when you’re older, time picks up speed”.

The singer also shared how he has an assisted “suicide pact” in place with his wife Sharon. He also pointed out how despite the fact that he doesn’t fear dying, he expressed that he doesn’t “want to have a long, painful and miserable existence”.Ozzy goes on to explain that he saw how he’s father died of cancer, so he’s rather do an assisted suicide.

“I like the idea that if you have a terminal illness, you can go to a place in Switzerland and get it done quickly, I saw my father die of cancer”, Ozzy shared.

In 2003 Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease but only opened up about his diagnosis in 2020. Osbourne underwent a major operation in 2022 when his health took a turn for the worse.

The artist had spinal surgery to try and correct damage from a fall he had in 2019. This reportedly affected the metal rods that were put in his body after a bike crash in 2003.

“It’s really knocked me about. The second surgery went drastically wrong and virtually left me crippled”, he told Rolling Stone UK.

Ozzy Osbourne continued: “I thought I’d be up and running after the second and third, but with the last one they put a f–king rod in my spine. They found a tumour in one of the vertebrae, so they had to dig all that out too”.

AKA’s daughter Kairo Forbes’ singing left fans saying she has her daddy’s vocals.

It’s been almost ten months now since the death of AKA in February, and Kairo has been mourning.

 

 

 

 

 

She had been through difficult times but seemed to be handling it all well.

Her mother, DJ Zinhle, Murdah Bongz and people like her grandmother Lynn and grandfather Tony had been with her.

Among them was Nadia Nakai, who has a close relationship with Kairo and has been teaching music.

It seemed that singing was in Kairo’s blood as she sang to her father’s hit song, Jika.

Rap Music shared the excellent video on their TikTok, and Nadia Nakai looked happy with what Kairo Forbes showed.

KAIRO FORBES’ JIKA SINGING LEFT FANS SAYING SHE HAD HER DADDY’S VOCALS
It seemed Nadia Nakai and Kairo Forbes had been rehearsing for the Jourburg Day, and they were on point.

Kairo and Nadia Nakai were on the stage, and Kairo was the main singer as Nadia Nakai backed her.

Popular celeb couple Tol A Mo (real name Mongezi Mahlangu) and Mome Mahlangu are back together.

The pair, who were in the process of divorce – according to Mo’s interview with with DJ Fresh in July – shared a cosy moment during their Instagram Live session at the weekend.

In the viral IG Live video, Mome – who is an author and reality TV star – is seen blushing as her comedian husband showers her with kisses on her face. She also jokes to her fans that she has a “new husband” before Mo shows his face.DIVORCE BOMBSHELL
During his interview with broadcaster DJ Fresh on his YouTube podcast show WAW What A Week, Mo revealed that he had walked out of his marriage because black women” traumatised” him.

The Bump The Cheese Up hitmaker was acquitted of sexual assault in August 2022 and threatened to sue the model for slander and defamation as the court described her as “a dishonest, egotistical and a belligerent liar.”Speaking to MacG and Sol Phenduka on Podcast and Chill in December last year, Tol Ass Mo said that when Lerato was asked in court when the rape incident took place, she said 18 March in the evening. However, he had been on a flight back to Johannesburg from Cape Town that morning, according to a picture on his Instagram.
