Dingaan Mokebe starring as the loud and showy yuppie investment broker James Motsamai in the soap opera Muvhango, endeared him to his fans. He joined the cast of Muvhango in 2003.

He replaced both Duncan Senye and Vuyelwa Booi, as the single host of the consumer rights show Speak Out. He took over in 2013 starting with Season 6 and continued hosting for three seasons, until 2016.

Actor Dingaan Mokebe, aka James Motsamai, cautioned women against playing hard to get as they might live to regret it. The Muvhango actor shared his wisdom and dating advice in a video he shared on Instagram where asked the question – Why men and women never go for who they want?

Staged at the Durban ICC on 15 December 2020, the 1st annual KZNEA was a night to remember not only for the winners but also for the limited number crowd in attendance as they witnessed electrifying performances from KZN’s biggest stars.

The awards, aimed at honoring those who have flown the KZN flag high, saw winners in each category walking away with R100 000 in cash while the KZN’s Most Loved Award was accompanied by an R500 000 cheque. Nomalanga “The Flame” Shozi was tasked with hosting duties on the black carpet whilst her industry peers, the flamboyant Somizi Mhlongo Motaung, and vivacious Pearl Thusi handled the main show.

Sharing the stage were Grammy Award-winning Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Nasty C, Zandie Khumalo, Sjava, Khuzani, DJ Tira, Nomcebo Zikode, Babes Wodumo, Big NUZ, L’vovo Derrango, and many others.

“We are excited that the rest of the world will finally watch persons who have put KZN on the international map being honored,” commented KZNEA chairman, Xolani Majozi.

Maskandi star Khuzani and Dj Sithelo won big at the awards. Dj Sithelo of Kotini records took the crown for best Dj and Newest Find while Khuzani won best Maskandi and KZN’s most loved walking away with R600 000.The awards attracted negative energy recently after DJ Bongz and DJ Sox decided to pull out from the awards show, withdrawing their nominations. Hulisani said the awards are a waste of money.

“Who’s paying? IF it’s government, this is a spit in the face of dilapidated schools, kids who cross dangerous rivers & walk for km’s to get to school, students who can’t afford tuition. I’m all for celebrating those who do well, the arts, mara please, this is a wasteful expenditure,” she commented.

She had been playing that role for 16 years and at the same time was also working on Live With The Ferguson Family and Madiba. She also starred in Love By Many Ways and landed a role in the show The Wild, in which she starred alongside her husband Shona Ferguson.

She has been playing the role of Harriet Khoza on the show The Queen recently and was on the cover of Forbes Woman Africa magazine in 2018. She has accomplished a lot in her career, all thanks to her talent and dedication.

She, along with her husband, started a company called Ferguson Films. Despite the company having its fair share of drama surrounding it, it has been doing well and the couple continues to climb the ladder of success. The couple, Connie and Shona Ferguson, an actor and director, got married three years after her divorce from actor Neo Matsunyane. They have been going strong since then and are the definition of couple goals. She has two daughters, one from each marriage.

The lowest paid actor of the lead cast is Thembsie Matu, who plays the character of Patronellah, she is estimated to earn between R20 000.00 to R25 000.00.

Loyiso McDonald and Zandile Msutwana who play Kagiso Khoza and Vuyiswa Maake respectively, earn R30 000.00 to R35 000.00 monthly each. This figure is speculated to be the same as Themba Ndaba, Zenande Mfenyana, and SK Khoza.
Additionally, other actors like Jessica Nkosi, Rapulana Seiphemo and Ntando Duma earn between R40 000.00 to R50 000.00 monthly. As expected the only person whose salary is undisclosed is lead, Connie Ferguson, who is also co-executive producer for the soapie.

Followed by Lunga Shabalala who plays Lindani, earns between R20 000 and R25 000. Larona is getting R25 000.

This is after Kim allegedly stole Londie’s man and got pregnant. The businessman later went back to Londie and now they are expecting their first child together. “You were fully & wonderfully made in the name of love. I haven’t even met you yet and I already love you beyond belief. My body has been changing in ways I didn’t think were possible. Just for you little one.” She wrote. “You wake me up every morning with your little flutters and waves of movement as you lay closely to my heart.”

The vocalist revealed that she and her partner are anticipating the arrival of their first child.

“I’m looking forward to the day when I get to hold you in my arms. We have been so excited for your arrival into this world. We talk to you, play with you and enjoy every moment of the special bond we have with you already.”The parents-to-be can’t wait to be the best examples for their baby. “I can only hope that we can be the parents that you deserve.
