Ntsiki Mazwai pays respect to Charlotte Maxeke as she visits her gravesite

 

Ntsiki Mazwai remembers late Charlotte Maxeke as she is supposed to celebrate another year today.

To pay respect to her, the star went to Charlotte’s gravesite to wish her a happy birthday and shared on social media.

The poet is a serious feminist and thanked Charlotte for her role in dismantling patriarchy in Mzansi.

Charlotte Maxeke is a struggle icon and was the first black woman in South Africa to get a university degree.

Ntsiki posted a photo of herself at Charlotte’s grave.

She captioned: “Happy birthday mama wethu…… Celebrating defiant women who go against patriarchy#CharlotteMaxekeDay”

Thandiswa Mazwai has no intention of becoming SA President

Thandiswa Mazwai clearly states that she has no intention of going into politics.

The singer made this known, after a fan urged her to run for a political position then later presidency: “or me its because of the tweet about the PAC.. sisaselapo, would you consider running for PAC president & later the country? I mean the support you would get.. you wouldn’t even comprehend.. Phela we still love you outchea,” fan says.

In response, the singer says she could never be a politician.

“I could never be a politician. I’m too much of an artist. Too wild. I hate rules and those who enforce them. “I hate everything official” grace. jones”

A-Reece has decided to share what his number one career highlight in the music industry.

The star has dominated his talents over the years and many of his fans are proud of him.

In his words, A-Reece stated that the highlight of his career has been working with Khuli Chana.

“The highlight of my career so far has been working with Khuli Chana. Someone I’ve always been inspired by throughout my journey,” he said.

Taking to Twitter, Gigi claims there’s no big deal in rappers doing amapiano songs.

She mentioned the likes of Riky Rick, Focalistic and a few others who are on one of the hottest amapiano songs, yet, they are rappers.

“We honestly need to be less judgemental as the SA Hip Hop community. This “real” hip hop chat is tired. Dance culture and music works so well when raps are on them. I mean look what Riky did on that VSOP joint. Malumz, Costa, Foca. It’s such a vibe. Sometimes we jus wanna dance,” she said.

Prince Kaybee educates fans on “Music Consumer Etiquette”

Prince Kaybee has taken to his social media to educate his fans on some of the etiquettes they need to know as a music lover.Taking to Twitter, the star mentioned that there is something called “Music Consumer Etiquette” as he emphasizes its importance.

Kaybee stated that it is very rude to change a song while the other is playing even if it is just you listening to it.

The DJ said it is advisable to wait till the music is done or take the volume down then change it.
