Nellie Tembe’s Sister Nondumiso Finally Speaks Out.

It has been a very sad week for the Hip Hop community as the fiancée of the beloved rap superstar AKA allegedly succumbed to depression. Nellie Anele Tembe fell to hear death from the 10th floor at a Cape Town, many have ruled it as a suicide, however police investigation are yet to release an official statement.

Since the passing of Nellie, the Tembe and Forbes family only released a media statement confirming the death of Tembe, however AKA has not posted anything yet concerning the horrific death of his wife that he paid lobola for.

Nondumiso Tembe is the elder sister of the deceased Nellie Anele Tembe. She is a renowned South African actress and singer, although most South Africans do not know her. She acted as Phumelele Miya on Generations. Nondumiso was also one of the performers at Nelson Mandela home in Qunu, South Africa, during his 90th birthday celebration? She sang uTata Madiba.

She took to Twitter to speak about her little sister’s death.

Family spokesperson and MC, Clive Manci said Nelli and her father Moses Tembe were close.

“Nelli had so much in common with her father. Her love for food, her stubborn nature, and charisma,” he says. “Her father loved her and raised his kids well. At a young age he allowed them to experience the best of education and travel the world.”

Nellie leaves behind her husband who paid lobola for her, rapper AKA Kernan Forbes. She also left a string of sad fans, family and many South Africans who knew little about her heartbroken by the tragic story of her shortened life.

Anele Tembe known as Nellie died after she fell from the 10th floor of Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town last weekend, Sunday, 11 April. It is believed that Nellie’s death was a suicide.

AKA has not posted anything since Saturday, 10 April, a day before Nellie’s death. L Tido shared a picture of AKA with friends holding hands and praying for Nellie. See below:

Nelli Tembe is known to be highly private and AKA seemed to be her voice to the public.

The 22-year-old who died on Sunday morning refused to be interviewed by any media house while she was still alive, and even placed her social media pages on private in other to avoid being on the limelight, despite dating one of SA most famous rapper.

However, a blog site named Zalebs revealed that they had a chat with Nelli, and a screenshot was shared.

In the chat, Nelli rebuked them for the kind of photos of her used to publish stories about her

“You guys use the worst photos of me – like whyyy,” she said.

Anele further revealed that she doesn’t care what’s being written about her on publications, because that’s what she signed up for – Dating AKA.

Zalebs urged her to do interviews even if she doesn’t like it, as it makes people know who she really is.

However, Nelli refused the invite saying:

“Yeah well, I don’t care about people knowing the real me. My family and I are very private people.”
