DJ Zinhle’s appearance in Nelli Tembe’s tribute disturbs South Africans

AKA’s fiancée, Anele Nelli Tembe was laid to rest today, Friday, 16th of April 2021, but the unexpected occurred and South Africans are not taking it lightly. The funeral service held at Durban International Conference Centre; friends and families were there to respect the young lady.

Aside the sermon, tributes from persons very close to the 22-year-old were read out and displayed.

AKA paid his tribute by projecting a compiled short video of Nelli; however, it’s shocking and disturbing for many that the rapper’s ex-lover and babymama, DJ Zinhle surfaced in one of the slides.

Mama Kairo topped social media trend list as many were curious about the event.

A Twitter user claimed that it wasn’t intentional, as the person who helped AKA compile the photos mistakenly added the DJ’s photo straight from google, without checking it.

“The person who compiled that Anele Tembe slide he collected her pictures from google and picked the one ka DJ Zinhle by mistake Go and Google Anele Tembe pictures you will see that pic ka Zinhle pops up Surely the person is not familiar with Zinhle,” said tweep.

Ayanda Ncwane has stepped on the toes of so many following her recent comments.

The star was called out after her comments which some felt it was tribalistic and offensive.

The Real Housewives of Durban cast member was talking a fellow cast member Nonkanyiso Conco about another ‘housewife’ named Kgomotso.

Speaking in isiZulu, Ncwane said that Kgomotso was not a black person and was a Tswana instead.

Although this is a fairly normal way for Zulu-speaking people to refer to tribes outside their own, many felt that there was tribalism involved and called her out.
