Nonkanyiso Conco is a South African businesswoman who is popularly known for being part of a reality show called “The real housewives of Durban”. She is also a social entrepreneur, founder and CEO of LaConco Naturals.

Nonkanyiso is originally from Durban in the KwaZulu-Natal province where she grew up. Some may know her as former President Jacob Zuma’s ex fiance. With that being said it is a new month and LaConco(her nickname) recently posted a picture.

She mentioned on her post that October is her birthday month and shared a beautiful picture of herself. LaConco looked gorgeous in a pattern dress and white sleepers standing next to her white car. Everybody is innocent until proven guilt, the same applies to Makhadzi who is facing allegations of misconduct. Residents of Mukondeni, Ha-Mashamba and other neighboring villagers are still angry at Makhadzi. They all gathered to a lodge opening ceremony that took place on the 25th of September at Mukondeni aiming to watch Makhadzi who was expected to come and perform.

A businessman known as Dr Ntavhanyeni Sampie Phaswana has opened up about how Makhadzi disappointed him after they had agreed she would witness the opening of his lodge. Phaswana claims he made advanced payments to Makhadzi for her to come and honor the official opening of his lodge ‘Bo Die Krans Lodge’ but she did not avail herself and neither did she apologise for not showing up.

The businessman said he started making payments to the artist on December 2020 and by September 18, 2021 he had already paid the remaining amount (making it a total of R55 000) to Makhadzi but on the day of the event Makhadzi did not show up, and has not said anything up to date.

Makhadzi is one of the biggest names in South African music industry currently, but let’s not forget that she is the same Makhadzi who used to perform in the streets, getting support from local people before the fame. It was local people who supported her music before she got recognized in other provinces and other countries. If it is true that she did received the money then she should do the right thing, because such acts can tarnish her reputation.

When one has made it in life it’s not advisable to forget where you come from. Now that she travels to Malawi, and to other countries it does not mean that people from Mukondeni village are now less important. A music career has no guarantee and if it happens that she falls from grace, everyone will forget about her except the people of Mukondeni because she is one of their own.

Even during the worst days for us as country we always find something to keep us entertained on social media, our social media platforms carries a huge place in our lives as thats were we are able to find the entertainment and the interesting stories that is always happening around us. Each and every month there is always something to talk about that either breaks the internet or starts trending and getting a lot if attention from people.

We have seen a lot if people in our country gaining fame overnight and they suddenly disappear from the public eye like they never existed. The stocko girls are the current topic as people took it upon them to remind others about them as it seems the whole country has forgotten them. They broke the internet last year with their dancing video and people don’t even remember them, that’s giw an overnight fame ends up you might think that its the beginning if new things but everything vanishes in a matter of months. For the stocko girl she tried to keep her fame I’ve but people got something else to talk about and forgot about her.

One of the social media users took it to their account and shared a photo of the stocko girls with caption “gone but not forgotten”. The post got a lot if attention as people remembered how this five girls had their five minutes of fame and we moved past them. Here in South Africa a simple thing can make you trend and for these young girls they never knew that they would end up trending until they saw their video rocking all the social media platforms. Even though their fame did not last long they were able to experience how being a popular person feels like.
