Do You Still Remember Wandile From Generations See Her In Real Life

She was born and raised in Zimbabwe and moved to Cape Town, South Africa, in 2006 to study at AFDA where she graduated with a BA in Live Performance. She celebrates her birthday every October 19th, and this year she will be turning 29. She has shared an adorable baby photo of herself for Throwback Thursday on her Instagram page. She attended an all-girls Catholic school and was part of the school’s drama club at the age of seven. Initially, the Generations star wanted to be a doctor but had a change of heart after she discovered her talent in the theatre.

Her childhood was, however, difficult, since she shared that she was raped as a child. Speaking to the SABC 3’s Afternoon Express, she revealed that she had decided to speak out so that her family and the one who preyed on her would get the message

Death always comes unannounced and the Mhende family had no choice but to welcome this rude guest into her lives.

The former Generations: The Legacy actress Chi Mhende bared it all on Instagram – detailing the pain of losing her beloved grandmother, whom she affectionately referred to as Gogo Mhende.

The talented Zimbabwean actress recalled how her grandmother would spoil her rotten as a child, and will forever cherish the unconditional love that she showed towards her, throughout her life.

The actress has joined a number of Mzansi’s females who have decided to pursue an interest behind the scenes. It is no secret that the acting industry is known to be quite unstable and unpredictable. Jobs are usually few and far between, whereby creative practitioners are often compelled to diversify their talents and keep the gates of income streams open!

As much as behind the scenes work can be very challenging for women, but a batch of Mzansi’s talented women have proven that nothing is impossible and they are killing it behind the scenes.
