Tanasha: I Will Always Love Diamond. He Used To Go Through My Phone And Saw I Was Loyal To Him

Tanasha Donna claims she’s the most loyal woman Diamond Platnumz has ever gotten.

Speaking in an interview with TUKO, the singer confessed that Diamond used to peruse her phone and could clearly see that Tanasha was not cheating her. She shared in the interview that she truly loved Diamond even though he didn’t see it.

“I genuinely loved him, he knows that. I was loyal to him and he used to say that himself. He could take my phone and go through it so comfortably. He used to say it himself he knew I was loyal to him. I believe that if I didn’t love him, I wouldn’t have been loyal to him.” She said.

Tanasha went on to add that even though the two are no longer together, she will still love Diamond. She insisted though that she has moved on and the two can’t reunite. That’s a man I will always have love for regardless the back and forth. He is a good man deep down. I moved on but at the end of the day, he’s the father of my son. But I’m not in love with him, I’m past that.” She said.

Asked whether she feels like Diamond elevated her career, Tansha had a rather interesting answer.

“Diamond has contributed to boosting my numbers in a short period of time most definitely for the fact that I was dating him. But whether he was in the picture or not, my focus was there from a very long time ago, I knew what my destiny was, I knew what I wanted to achieve. I was already very well connected in the industry.” Tanasha said.

Behind The Story’s host, Pearl Thusi, had come under fire in late August 2020, after she was accused of supporting alleged rapist, Toll A$$ Mo. The presenter had informed viewers that the former comedian would be appearing as one her first guests, and asked them to submit questions for her to ask him.

Tweeps immediately began lambasting the show for giving Toll A$$ Mo a platform for self-promotion, despite being accusing of sexually assaulting model and actress, Lerato Moloi. Many called out BET Africa for their clear misdemeanour and also question them on if they had tackled the subject matter, or if they were merely talk about the ex-comedian’s marriage and career.

Following the social media uproar, BET Africa made things worse by “acknowledging” the allegations levelled against Toll Ass Mo, and suggested that they would air the episode, and wanted to give Lerato (the alleged sexual assault survivor) an opportunity to respond on the same platform.

Their response did not sit well with many, and caused for Tweeps to drag Pearl Thusi into the saga. Many accused the channel and Pearl for using a rape-story as a publicity stunt for the show, and threatened to boycott Behind The Story if the episode continued to air.

Thereafter, in a turn of events, the channel confirmed that interview will not be aired “out of respect for the current environment, legal proceedings and the basis of impartiality.” The promotion of the all-female line-up appears to be the channel’s way of redeeming themselves falling the entire incident.

Cassper recently shaded A Reece as he announced that he has an album coming titled Paradise 2. In a series of tweets, Cassper wrote “They gone bring the negativity closer to the album release date. We gonna see so many rappers twirling, some might drop on the same day as me. All kinds of weird shit!! We ready doe!!! Focused on making the best music I can make cause nobody can do what I do!!! Reece fans have taken to Twitter dissing Cassper’s album and some even went as far as saying they cannot wait for A Reece to drop an album to save the SA hip hop game. The two rappers have apparently been beefing for quiet some time now, and it became evident when they started trading subtweets and subliminal bars on Twitter but mostly from A-Reece’s end though.

Cassper even offered a feature but A Reece wasn’t buying his story. This follows after fans asked him if he would collaborate with the rapper, and he said he couldn’t get hold of Reece.

“Been trying to find him. Dmd him. I tried though, that’s what counts. I tried a lot of guys and most of them are missing me. I tried,” he said.

Cassper has been saying that he is tired of beefing and he wants to protect his energy.
