Celebrity sangoma Gogo Skhotheni has revealed that she and her husband, Monde Shange, are separated

Celebrity sangoma Gogo Skhotheni has revealed that she and her husband, Monde Shange, are separated. The former Izangoma Zodumo star, who is also a DJ, shared the news on her Instagram stories, where she revealed that it has been six months since their split.

“I’ve been single for six months and people think I am in a relationship. Maybe it is because my breakup with my ex was a mature one,” she wrote. Skhotheni explained that she and Shange are only ever seen together because of their children. Whenever we are seen together it is because of our kids or business but besides anything, we are no longer together.“It has been a while that we even unfollowed each other on social media platforms. We officially broke up six months ago,” she added. The tradional healer, who has had her fair-share of drama on social media, has been an advocate for polyandry. In 2022, she revealed that she had taken a second husband, named Sibusiso, who lived seperately from Shange. At the time, Skhotheni – who said she was instructed by her ancestors to marry a second man – explained that she sees her husbands according to a schedule they put together. During her interview on Nkululeko n Cultr, however, Skhotheni said while she liked the idea of having more than one partner, Shange did not approve of it.

“It was a fun experience. If my husband would allow me to have a second husband, I think I would. It was fun seeing him get angry because I hardly do anything to my husband. My husband and I have never fought about mjolo (dating); we fight about serious stuff. So seeing him when I approached him about a second husband with him getting angry was a turn-on,” she said. It would be a nice experience, but no, there’s no second husband.

The reason I praise God every single day of my life and I live such a simple life is because I was given a second chance, in that second chance God showed up personally and changed my whole life. One thing I take pride in doing is thanking people that played a part in my life, she now runs my business it’s nothing compared to what she did for me but may God continue to bless her,” the star wrote. Du shared lessons learnt and shared a photo of the lady who saved her.

“Lesson of life, when you feel like everything is falling apart that’s when God is at work. If I came out strong you can pull yourself out of it and let God direct you. The devil is always waiting to find you weak. I say this every single day I live to serve God no one else. I thank God every single day for saving my life. I wouldn’t be here doing such great things. I’m living my purpose and that’s the biggest gift
