Mamarumo Marokane was born on the 15th of August 1996. She studied at City Varsity School of Media and Creative Arts, graduating with a diploma in Acting for Camera and Live Performance.The talented actress best known for her role as Dineo in the MTV drama series MTV Shuga: Down South. Mamarumo, however, made her television acting debut in the BET Africa drama series Grit. She next appeared in the Mzansi Magic telemovie Isipho Sothando.

Mamarumo next played the recurring role of sports science student Dineo in the seventh season of the MTV drama series MTV Shuga, entitled “Down South 2”.
