Misizulu Sinqobile Hlomesakhishlangu kaZwelithini was crowned yesterday as the new king of the Zulu people, marking a significant historical moment. He is the first Zulu monarch since his father, the late King Goodwill Zwelithini, was crowned in December 1971.

 

 

 

Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, the President, has officially acknowledged Misizulu kaZwelithini as the legitimate heir to the Zulu throne. After the formal ritual is over, Ramaphosa will officially crown the new monarch as King of the Zulu people by presenting him with a certificate.

Andiswa Jali, a stunning Zulu woman, recently made headlines after she spoke out against King Zwelithini’s treatment of his wives. She wrote on Twitter, “Ndlunkulu ka Mafu Zulu was the only mother to come to support King Misizulu, and he is grateful to her.” The beautiful Queen Zola Mafu is King Zwelithini’s sixth wife.

Miss Andiswa Jali is a rising star in the Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, area as a social media influencer and content developer. The woman is a journalism student at Durban University of Technology, and she tweeted comprehensive coverage of the king’s coronation. Cele passed away on December 2, 2007, at Durban’s St. Augustine’s Hospital. He is interred at the Stellawood Cemetery in the South African province of KwaZulu-Durban Natal’s eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality.

He allegedly passed away in a rage.

In a customary ceremony in South Africa, Misuzulu ka Zwelithini was crowned Zulu monarch following a year-long family dispute.

 

 

 

 
The 48-year-old is the son of the former monarch, but some royals had maintained that the will of the deceased king was actually forgeried and that the 48-year-old was not the genuine heir.

At the traditional Zulu coronation held on Saturday at KwaKhangelamankengane Palace, thousands of people attended. The king entered the revered cattle kraal to honor his ancestors before being formally recognized as the new Zulu king by both the living and the dead.

As a crucial demonstration that he is the one who has been chosen, he was supposed to wear the lion’s hide that he killed for the royal occasion. To get ready for the festivities, more than 10 cows were killed.

The Zulu nation has an illustrious past. The battle of Isandlwana in 1879 saw it defeat British troops, earning it worldwide fame.

Its contests for succession have always been heated and occasionally bloody. In order to ascend to the throne, the legendary King Shaka ka Senzangakhona murdered his brother in 1816. Years later, he was assassinated in a plot orchestrated by his nephew.

People came from allover the world to celebrate with the new king , amongst the guest people couldn’t help but notice that the was a guy who looked like” Henry Cele from Shaka Zulu” this caused a stir on social media.
