Joseph “Stimela” Baloyi, a former PSL champion, has passed away.He was 51 Baloyi passed away on Monday while at his home in Limpopo, only a few hours after being released from a provincial hospital.

His family has informed them that he was admitted on August 15 after complaining of stomach discomfort.

While a funeral service was scheduled for Thursday evening in Hillbrow, Johannesburg, where he worked as a building manager for Mafadi Properties, his funeral will take place on Saturday close to Solomondale, Limpopo.

Baloyi began his career with Bosveld United after being born in Solomondale, Limpopo, and transferred to Real Rovers at the start of 1995, the same year that the Zimbabwean trio of John Phiri, Misheck Mapika, and Austin Juwayeyi joined the team.
