With more and more one-hit wonders becoming the norm these days, it’s refreshing to see musicians standing the test of time. Legendary musician Caiphus Semenya (80) and his gorgeous wife, Letta Mbulu (77) have been in the music for as long as we can remember, yet till today, they still remain relevant.

The pair are so relevant, even the king of Mzansi DJs, Black Coffee has honoured them!

Multiple award-winning music powerhouses Black Coffee and Ami Faku collaborated with Gallo Remixed to get lost in the melody of legacy with an Afropop remix of “There’s Music In The Air”.

Originally performed, recorded, written, and produced in 1976 by Letta Mbulu and Caiphus Semenya respectively, one of the staple anti-apartheid songs is reborn into the nuanced pursuit of unattained freedoms accentuated through an invigorating electronic soul remix/remake as part of the Gallo Remixed Series executively produced by Black Coffee.

Honing into the original composition’s medium for hope, feelings of love, hope and solace, and a zeitgeist message of freedom, Ami Faku bellows passionate vocal textures, soothing harmonies, and piercing tonal registers on the Black Coffee and DJ Kenza’s Co-Production.

“This remix is one that I hold close to my heart as it represents so much of the struggle, perseverance and courage that my country has always put forth. We’ve taken our roots and splashed a modern spin — I’m excited for this to be released for the world’s ears.” shares artist/producer Black Coffee.

Amu Faku said “I’m super excited for the release of this song. I have always wanted to work with Black Coffee and we finally found the perfect song and I do hope that people receive it well.”

Sharing a mutual admiration and respect for the aforementioned music icons who were a catalyst in the dismantlement of Apartheid in South Africa, “There’s Music In The Air” harnesses the pivotal spirit of its original composition to immortalise South Africa’s milestone growing influence on the global music culture.

Khwezi To Save Lehasa FromTo Go To Jail. Here Is What She’s Going To Do [OPINION]

Khwezi Is serious about saving Lehasa from going to prison. She said she cannot afford to see the father of her child going to prison. No matter how many times we can disagree, the truth is Lehasa and Khwezi are perfect for each other.

Khwezi is going to help Lehasa win the court case and after that Lehasa is going to leave her again to Pretty. Khwezi might save Lehasa from going to jail after her meeting with The Mavimbela.

Mzansi Is starting to think that Khwezi has been working with The Mavimbela’s to get Nothile out of Lehasa. We have seen it today when Khwezi met with Judge Mavimbela who is handling the case of Lehasa. Khwezi told Mavimbela that he owns her a favor and she here to collect the favor.

Nothile’s father have revealed that what he wanted was Lehasa to leave their daughter alone and the plan was successful. According to my knowledge it seems like The Mavimbela’s could have hired Khwezi to come between Nothile and Lehasa.

It’s going to be hard to remove Khwezi since she already knows more. Khwezi is already involved in Lehasa’s business. And the reason why Lehasa proposed to Khwezi is because he knew that he will go to jail and while his away his going to need someone who will look after his businesses.
