SAFTA award-winning actress Linda Sebezo, has revealed how she spent months at Sun City prison after being arrested for drugs worth R5 million.

The actress who now plays Ribs on The Black Door was guest on the King David’s podcast where she opened up about many things including her acting career and how she was wrongfully arrested.

She revealed that police once pounced into her house in search of drugs which they later found and are said to have been worth R5 million.

She says she was just sitting enjoying some time with her family and grandchildren on New Year’s Day when the police came in searching his house.

While they were searching they were saying, “we want drugs, we want drugs.”

The drugs were later found and she was arrested but she reveals that she had no knowledge about the drugs and didn’t know anything about them.

While arrested Sebezo was denied bail and her passport confiscated by the police as she was deemed to be a flight risk, that she might skip the country.
