Eskom confirms weekend load shedding schedule: It’s not good!

Power utility Eskom confirmed in an X post on Friday that Stage 2 load shedding will be implemented between 16:00 and 20:00 and thereafter Stage 3 will be in effect until 05:00 on Saturday.

Stage 2 will then return between 05:00 and 20:00 on Saturday, followed by Stage 3 until 05:00 on Sunday.

 
Eskom pleaded with the public to switch off non-essential appliances to reduce the demand, especially between 17:00 and 21:00.
