RET champion in the Kwa-Zulu Natal province, Nkosentsha Shezi has argued that former president Jacob Zuma on Wednesday prayed that God defeats his enemies. Zuma hosted Shembe Church which held a prayer session at his Nkandla homestead.

Zuma knelt before the leader of Shembe Church asking for prayers. He said he has been facing persecutions since the time he left presidential office. Zuma also sought prayers with his ongoing arms deal trial.

 

 

 
Nkosentsha Shezi said the outcome of the independent panel on Phala Phala probe is a clear testimony that Zuma’s prayer asking that his opponents must be defeated yielded results. The RET comrades have been accusing Ramaphosa’s administration of persecuting Zuma.

“President Zuma prayed that God defeat his enemy and UNyazi lwezulu responded few hours later… #CyrilMustGo,” said Nkosentsha Shezi as he reacted to the independent panel report after their probe on president Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala scandal.

Some ANC comrades argue that president Ramaphosa will become the first victim of Section 89 that was created to remove former Zuma in 2017. They said this is a clear indication that chickens are coming home to roost.

“He will be the first comrade to be disqualified from contesting an election with step aside he created for Ace,” some fired shots at the president as he faces uncertainty.

Another RET comrade Nathi Sithole said the fact that the Shembe leader was at Zuma’s Nkandla homestead showed how blessed the former president is. The chair that the Shembe leader sat on is considered sacred and cannot be inside someone’s home except in the temple, but on Wednesday the chair entered Zuma’s home.

“The Shembe holy chair is regarded as the sacred chair that doesn’t stay anywhere other than at the temple. Only his holiness who sit on it, not anyone can carry it, only a clean women who never slept with a man. Today it was at president Zuma’s home. This is a blessing,” said Sithole.
