But, according to the publication, Nomaswazi will not be written off; instead, Omuhle will be replaced by Durban Gen actress Fanele Ntuli.

Omuhle left the show after becoming dissatisfied with the changes to her contract terms. She allegedly told producers that she moved to KZN because of the offer she received, not realizing that it would be changed.

According to sources, Fanele, who plays Dr. Zondo on Durban Gen, will be the replacement.

“The deal between Fanele and Uzalo has been finalized. As soon as Omuhle’s prerecorded parts end, viewers will see the new Nomaswazi – Fanele,” said the insider.

On Durban Gen, Dr Zondo is married to Dr Dlamini, and her marriage appears to be in trouble.

A second mole confirmed to the People’s Paper that Fanele was the new Nomaswazi.

“She was lucky to find a job after Durban Gen. After it was cancelled, actors were left frustrated and unemployed. I’m happy for Fanele, and we think that she is the perfect replacement.”
