I think one of the most embarrassing experiences that could ever happen to anyone is being rejected publicly after you go down on your knee to propose to the one you believe you are in love with.

This was the case in an image that has gone viral after the lady seemingly rejected the proposal in the presence of a huge gathering. Some have pointed out that the guy was wrong to do something like that before even communicating with the lady.

 

Most of the comments that were brought about by this incident were completely negative as most of them suggested it was wrong to propose in public. I must say the debate was heated as you will see below in the comments section. 

A good friend of mine recently proposed to his long-time girlfriend. Before he did it, I got the scoop on how he planned to pop the big question , and even got a look at the beautiful ring he’d purchased. But as we spoke, one important question came up: “Oh man, what if she says ‘no’?”.

It is perfectly okay to have a “gut feeling” that the marriage would not be successful and simply go on that. However, it is even better to be clear to yourself what your concerns are. Maybe in this scenario in the picture it would have been better for the gentleman to discuss his intentions with his partner first before doing something grand or spectacular.

“Many people look at us(celebrities) when we are the finished product, and think that we had an easy life. We had to fight to get here, we experienced a lot of hardships to get here today. For example I used to be a prostitute so that I could put food on the table, that is why I always advocate for them because they are also human like the rest of us; and it is situations that lead us to opt for that kind of survival” said the South African born legend.

A lot of South Africans were left saddened, and several of them took a small time out of their busy schedule to send their heartfelt messages to the icon. Mam Lillian Dube’s story is that of resilience in life. Not only has she fought her way out of the life of poverty proving that our circumstances don’t define us, but she has also fought numerous battles against breast cancer; proving that cancer is not a death sentence- you can be diagnosed and still live.

DJ Sumbody was one of the pioneers of Ayepyep, a style of music that blends South African house music . He was known for his unique and energetic performances.

“I’m just not sure how to feel about this. It feels like the world has lost something special, but then again it doesn’t bother me enough to cry about it. Still can’t believe DJ Sumbody is gone. SA is a movie indeed.

 

DJ Sumbody, a pioneer of the Amapiano style of music, has passed away. Although his family claims that more information about his passing is still ambiguous, unsubstantiated rumors suggest he was shot and died.”

DJ Sumbody, born Nhlanhla Mkhize in Mpumalanga and raised in Soweto, was a pioneer of the Amapiano style of music. He also went by the name Ayepyep and released songs like ‘Smoke’ and ‘The Yola’.

He used to be part of the Winky D collective that also included Kwesta and Big Nuz.

According to The Daily Sun, DJ Sumbody was supposed to appear at The Secret Door nightclub in Pretoria on Saturday night based on his social media activity. Prior to his passing, the Ayepyep artist is seen in an Instagram Stories video smoking a cigar with the message “Back to basics.”
