The actress rushed to Twitter to reveal her latest discovery. Dineo Langa says she was shocked as she didn’t know Babes has such a gifted voice; she goes on to warn record companies to stop toying with the late Mampintsha’s wife.

Even Mampintsha’s mother Zamanguni Gumede is certainly not jumping for joy either as more concerns have risen surrounding Babes Wodumo and how she is mourning her late husband, Mampintsha.

Without fail, Gqom queen Babes Wodumo have been making headlines since the funeral of her late husband, Mandla ‘Mampintsha’ Maphumulo. Mampintsha was laid to rest last week Friday and New Years Ever Babes Wodumo was seen performing at a New years Eve event ‘Last Dance’ held in Pietermaritzburg.

Although Babes Wodumo was given the green light to take it back to stage by her pastor and marriage counselor, Pastor Dube. Scores of people are certainly not thrilled at how she is mourning and paying her last respect to her Mampintsha.

Although the pair seemed to have buried the hatchet of their on-going drama at the funeral. Zamanguni Gumede did not beat around the bush to call out Babes Wodumo for misappropriating the traditional mourning process.

“Firstly, she is not at home, she is gallivanting in the streets, drinking and partying. Two, she is not wearing traditional mourning clothes. The daughter of a pastor is not following the rules. She is doing things her own way” added Zamanguni Gumede

Although Mampitsha’s mother is not so traditionally based herself. However, she does not approve of how Babes Wodumo is mourning her son. Understandably, she is a singer ans a performer but the time frame of how everything is unfolding has become worrisome not only for Mampintsha’s mother but for Mzansi as a whole.

“I am not a very traditional person myself, and I understand people heal differently and deal with grief in their own way, but this is not right. This is painful to watch. She is disrespecting my son in a way” said Zamanguni Gumede

Zamanguni Gumede’s biggest concerns is how Babes Wodumo’s parents, who are very religious and faith-based people are letting everything slide at how Babes Wodumo is conducting herself.

“Why are they not saying anything? It has not even been a month. I wouldn’t be shocked If she were to start dating someone. After everything, I am very disappointed. I just want her and me to talk and for us to find a way forward.” ended Zamanguni Gumede

As it stands, Babes Wodumo is under fire after she managed to crack Mampintsha’s phone password. The Wololo hit-maker is already posting via Mampintsha’s Facebook account and has even divulged to people some of the shocking and damning information she came across on Mampintsha’s phone.

Babes Wodumo is the stage name of South African gqom performer and choreographer Bongekile Mildred Simelane, who was born on July 26, 1994. She is best known by her stage name. Her breakout single “Wololo” was released in 2016, and it was the catalyst for her meteoric rise to popularity. Later, she included the track on her first studio album, Gqom Queen, which was published in the latter half of 2016.

Kelly Nonhlanhla Khumalo is a well-known South African performer in the fields of singing, songwriting, acting, and dancing. She was born on November 11, 1982. She was found while she was playing at a gospel talent competition and signed a record deal with Bonsai Entertainment, releasing her debut studio album T.K.O. She was born and reared in Nquthu, which is located in the province of KwaZulu-Natal (2005).

After the release of her first album, “T.K.O,” she became an overnight sensation (2005). On the Afro-Pop music circuit in 2005, she was given the award for Best Newcomer of the Year. On November 5, 2012, the album titled Past, Present, and Future was made available for purchase. At the 19th South African Music Awards, which took place in May 2013, she was awarded one of the prizes.

People started making comparisons between Babes Wodumo and Kelly Khumalo after seeing a picture of the two of them wearing the same thing on their heads across their faces. This got people talking about the similarities between the two.When people saw this picture, they immediately began making comments about beauties. Wodumo’s hat, stating that it does not appear to be the same as the one that Kelly Khumalo is wearing, and they claim that the hat that Kelly Khumalo is wearing is of a higher quality than the one that Babes are wearing. People have commented that it appears to be excessively large. They persist in claiming that Kelly Khumalo’s is the superior option. It was she who sported it with the most grace.

People don’t understand why Babes Wodumo’s hat appeared the way it did, is, and why it appeared as though it was oversize because she was not okay. People don’t understand why her hat appeared as though it was too big. There is a possibility that Kelly Khumalo wore that hat for a particular event that did not want a lot of attention, so it did not put any pressure on her. If this was the case, then it did not affect her performance.

If there is only one thing that might bring a pain that never goes away is losing the closest person you ever loved and that person loved you back. There’s no way you could heal so early after the burial even if you have people around you.

Just a few days ago, Babes Wodumo had buried her late husband Mamphumulo who goes by the name of Mapintsha in Music industry. These two really loved each other and nobody could even try to separate them. They were blessed with a daughter that they couldn’t forget from God. However, as you know that death has no boundaries when it comes to taking people, Mapintsha’s family was visited and unfortunately the bread winner, an artist, a father and a husband to Babes Wodumo was taken.

It was so heartbreaking to receive the sad news that Babes Wodumo lost her man due to stroke he suffered for a long period of time. Due to heart failure, the stoke was very high as he was performing and he was rushed to the hospital. Oh shame, May his soul rest in peace.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
However, Babes Wodumo made a joke during his final destination that she would go through his phone and finds whomever was behind him trying to steal him. And guess what? She finally did managed to log in into his phone, accessed everything she could and finally went live telling people that she meant business. Although it was a joke, some people took it very seriously and told her to heal without showing off to the people.
