Popular rapper Kiernan Forbes who was affectionately known as AKA was laid to rest in a private ceremony after he was assassinated while leaving a restaurant where he had enjoyed dinner with friends.

People are still taken by surprise on the loss of the famous rapper and could not believe it either when they saw a fleet of cars escorting his coffin to his final resting place. It was such a sad moment for South Africans and his family who had the last chance to accept that he is really gone.

Although it was a private ceremony, pictures of what transpired at the graveyard came to light and one could see how the family were shattered to be burying one of their own when they least expected it. Aka’s daughter Kairo Forbes was seen standing besides her father’s graveyard and continued to look strong although she will surely miss her father who was so close to her.

Another thing that was also noticed was when his friend Don Design poured Hennessey into the rapper’s grave when others were pouring sand, obviously it was something the rapper would not mind at all. Don design has however been accused of having a hand in the rapper’s murder by his shady behavior prior to the shooting.

AKA’s Mother Lynn Forbes has however poured water on those theories as she said that Don Design is her son and that she loves him very much when she delivered her speech at the rapper’s memorial service at the Sandton Convention Centre on Friday where the life of the iconic rapper was remembered.

The father of the late Anele Nellie Tembe Moses, has finally made known AKA’s Underworld Connections in a document to National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).

Moses Tembe acted in realisation of the Promotion of Access to Information Act on tangible evidence that the late rapper AKA, allegedly had some dirty works.
