Tholukuthi, the singer’s first hit, was a collaboration with the actual big star. Hey! Unfortunately, Killer Kau passed away at the beginning of August 2021, just as he was beginning to revolutionize the whole South African Amapiano music industry.

Seete was born around March 25th, 1977, in the Soweto district of Pretoria, South Africa. She lost her dad when she was a teenager.

She was brought up by her mother and brother in Sebokeng, a town in the Vaal area of South Africa. Her mother Rebecca Seete died suddenly in March of 2021.

Her businessman husband was named Collen Mashawana. She conceived Dakalo, her first and only child, in April 2019.
