Billionaire gives $1,000 in cash to each graduate at their ceremony

242Robert Hale, who is known as a billionaire, gave $1,000 to everyone who was graduating on that day with him. They were happy because he said they all deserve it for being able to succeed at that level, and he did not specifically choose who would receive it. That is very generous coming from him, and there are a lot of billionaires that you can think of, and they have not given people money in that many ways. In some cases, they will choose to form a non-profit organisation.

A few years back, in South Africa, billionaire Patrice Motsepe made a donation of R100 million. A comment was made on Twitter that he should have given everyone R1 million, and from that remaining amount, he would donate it. South Africa may not have more than 60 million people, and it would have been a great idea to donate, and maybe from that moment on, they would not bother with donations that much. But it does not come that easily.

However, there are people who are donating to other people or organisations, but they have decided to keep it a secret. Some people want it to be sent to the media for the great work they have done. There are a lot of people who are struggling, and they need help as much as possible. It remains heartbreaking to see someone who is not able to make it, even though you can see their potential.

“We are proud of you, so we want to share in that celebration with you. There are two sets of envelopes: One says ‘Gift’ and one says ‘Give.’ The first is for you, the ‘Gift’ is for you. The ‘Give’ is also for you, but it’s to give,” Hale explained in his commencement speech. We want to give you two gifts. The first is a gift to you. The second is the gift of giving. These trying times have heightened the need for sharing, caring and giving. Our community and our world need you, it needs us more than ever — needs us to be compassionate.”
