South African dancer Musa Motha may have not won Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) season 16, but his has surely won the hearts of audiences and viewers at home and his final performance was nothing short of inspirational.

The 27-year-old, who lost his left leg at the age of 10 due to a bone cancer called osteosarcoma in 2006, delivered yet another tear-jerker on stage during the finale on Sunday, 4 June.

Dressed in a yellow suit, Motha gave it his all on in an incredible performance of light and darkness. The dancer was also occasionally joined by back up dancers during his performance.

His performance received a standing ovation and the judges too were impressed, with Alisha describing him as “inspirational” and BGT describing it as “poetic” on Twitter.

Motha competed in the final against singer Amy Lou, comedic dancer Viggo Venn (who was crowned the winner), singer Olivia Lynes, Ugandan dancers Ghetto Kids, singer Travis George, singer Malakai Bayoh, acrobats Duo Odyssey, magician Cillian O’Connor and dancer Lillianna Clifton.

The Sebokeng-born dancer, whose first love is football, won the hearts of many with his four-minute piece to Runnin’ (Lose It All) by Naughty Boy featuring Beyoncé and Arrow Benjamin. His performance earned him a standing ovation, cheers and the first-ever group golden buzzer from the judges.

Speaking to the Daily Sun last week, his mother, Ntokozo Motale, said his performance reminded her of the days when he started dancing.

“I was always worried that he’d fall and hurt himself.”

However, she is now a proud mother and happy he followed his dreams.

“I am proud of Musa because he never gave up on life after his leg was amputated but learnt to use crutches that have made him the best dancer in the world,” Ntokozo said.

It seems things are not getting better with regards to loved ones around the late Dj Sumbody who was shot and killed earlier this year. Conteoversy around his businesses and estate as he was not legally married to the mother of his children.

The late Dj’s business partner sent shock waves last week when he revealed that he had moved with his family to Dubai, this is a quest for safety after he said the Ayep Yep business was being targeted by a cape town gang leader.

Now, Dj Sumbody’s long time girlfriend was reportedly kicked out of the late musician’s luxury home in Gauteng by his family.Tlotlisang Moloi was in a relationship and was living with DJ Sumbody when he was gunned down earlier this year.

This is somehow sad because Dj Somebody and Tlotlisang lived together at the Copperleaf Golf Estate in Centurion. They dated for 13 years till his passing. When it started, Moloi waz asked to vacate the house for cleansing by the family but has not been allowed to move back as yet.

ASAVELA IS MAKING STRIDES IN FARMING
In the past few months, Asavela opened up about her passion for farming as she took it more seriously.

Since then, she has been sharing her progress in farming, and she impresses many fans.

She has many road runner chickens, as well as broilers. She is also in crop production.

Last season, she had a good harvest of maize and seemed to be continuing for a while.

After receiving death threats from unidentified drug dealers, the host of the Sizok’thola show, Xolani Khumalo of Moja Love, who exposes drug cartels and syndicates most of which are Nigerian lords now lives in constant fear of being assassinated.

Khumalo and the channel’s CEO Aubrey Tau have reportedly been receiving death threats on their smartphones from unidentified people who threaten to kill them if they do not halt the program, according to a story by Sunday World.

The program emphasizes illegal immigration, traffickers, and criminality. In an effort to reduce crime, viewers have openly praised Moja Love’s top television program, Sizokuthola, for busting Nigerian drug lords in drug-infested neighborhoods and exposing criminal ruses.

The idea for Sizok’thola reportedly came to Khumalo and a few of his friends as they were defending their Tembisa neighborhood during the riots in July 2021.

Khumalo and his team stop drug use and criminal activities on the show by taking matters into their own hands.

The premier of Gauteng, Panyaza Lesufi, has complimented Sizok’thola for his uncompromising stance against crime and drugs and has recently started his own anti-drug campaign against nyaope.
