Family pleads for help as South African teacher battles mental breakdown in South Korea

In a distressing turn of events, Andani Bugana, a 22-year-old South African teacher, finds herself grappling with a sudden mental breakdown in South Korea, just four months after starting her teaching job in the country. What makes this situation even more heart-wrenching is the absence of any known triggers or pre-existing mental health conditions.

Andani Bugana set off for South Korea in March with aspirations of securing a teaching position and supporting herself in a foreign land. However, fate had other plans in store. Recent reports reveal that she experienced an unexpected and severe mental breakdown, rendering her in a vulnerable and unstable state. Despite medical examinations, the exact cause of her breakdown remains a perplexing mystery, as all results have come back normal, and there is no history of mental health issues in her family.

At present, Andani is under treatment at Sam-Jeong Hospital in Incheon, South Korea. However, the situation has become more dire due to her health insurance not covering the expenses of her hospitalization. Consequently, all medical bills are mounting, and as Andani is in a fragile state, she requires a companion to accompany her back home to South Africa. This has left her family desperately seeking assistance.

In a heartfelt plea on social media, Andani’s family is reaching out to anyone who can contribute towards her medical expenses and the cost of her return flight home. They acknowledge that not everyone may be able to help, but even the smallest contribution could make a significant difference in their efforts to bring Andani safely back to South Africa.

Aside from financial aid, the family is also requesting the support and prayers of the community during this challenging time. Being separated from their loved one during such a difficult period has taken an immense toll on the family, and they are hopeful that the collective strength and compassion of others can help bring Andani home.

However, beyond her on-screen success, there’s more to Connie Chiume than meets the eye. Many might not be aware that she hails from both Malawian and South African roots, embracing her diverse heritage.

Her journey in the world of television commenced in 1977, and since then, she has consistently lived up to the expectations of her devoted audience. MaMpisane’: Has Sithelo Shozi ditched the drama with ex

Sithelo Shozi has hinted that the drama with her ex-boyfriend’s family – the Mpisane’s – is over. The DJ and TV star shared a birthday tribute to her lastborn daughter Coco Likuwe, who turned two years old on Friday, 21 July.

But it was her subtle acknowledgment of her baby daddy that had her Instagram followers surprised.

Sithelo and Andile Mpisane share two daughters: Florence and Coco. Andile has a third daughter – Miaandy – with wife Tamia Mpisane.

In an Instagram post, Sithelo Shozi shared a birthday post to little Coco.

She shared alongside snaps of the tiny toddler: “God’s grace and goodness I saw through you. I love you and never get enough of you”.

Surprisingly, Sithelo then referred to Coco as “MaMpisane,” acknowledging the child’s paternal side.

One follower commented that this could be a sign of a family truce.

Sithelo’s sweet Instagram post comes a little over a year after she claimed in court papers that her ex demanded a test to “prove” he was the father.

If that wasn’t bad enough, Sithelo also accused the budding amapiano star in a series of social media posts of physically abusing her throughout their relationship. She later applied for a protection order against him.

Meanwhile, both Andile Mpisane and his mother Shauwn Mkhize, aka MaMkhize, posted birthday tributes for Coco’s birthday.

The Royal AM chairman shared: “The day you were born was the greatest moment of my life. I am so grateful that I have a daughter as beautiful and intelligent as you…Daddy loves you”.

Sizwe Dhlomo vs Unathi Nkayi: Kaya FM battle intensifies

South African media personality Unathi Nkayi is determined to take action against Kaya FM following what she is calling her “wrongful termination” in 2021. The radio host headed online to ask social media users to send her screenshots of Sizwe Dhlomo’s tweets at the time so that she can use it as evidence. It would appear that Sizwe Dhlomo is confident in his case and has encouraged anyone with the screenshots to send it to Unathi.

Recording equipment in the studio later revealed that Sizwe had in fact not sworn at her but rather asked her not to come late.

The evidence resulted in Unathi’s contract with the broadcaster being terminated with immediate effect.

Instead of bowing out however, Unathi decided to pursue legal action against Kaya FM which she is now accusing of having wrongfully fired her.In her bid to win the case, she has headed online to ask social media users to send screenshots of Sizwe’s tweets when the incident first occurred in 2021.

“If anyone screen grabbed the Twitter rant that Sizwe went on from the 17 of November to December 2021 about my wrongful termination. Two days he dedicated to a Q&A. He’s deleted everything but we’re not surprised,” she says in a video.

After spotting the video, Sizwe appears not to be bothered and has encouraged people to send screenshots if they have any.
