Nonhle Thema has seemingly turned to God following her 2011 ‘fall from grace’.

South African media personality Nonhle Thema was once one of the country’s biggest media personalities. She had everything a girl needed to make it big in the entertainment industry and that included parents who were already wealthy and famous. Just a few years after she started making it big on TV however, her blossoming career collapsed and she retreated into the shadows of her fame.


 

 

Heading online this week, the former V-Entertainment presenter opened up about her “downfall” and how money and fame turned her into a monster.Nonhle Thema, the daughter of esteemed journalist Derrick and beauty queen Cynthia Shange used to be SA’s favourite TV presenter and actress.

Many loved watching her on Vuzu’s V-entertainment and Channel O’s O-access.

In fact, she was so popular as an entertainment presenter that she was soon starring in her reality TV show Nonhle Goes to Hollywood.

While her career appeared to be facing an upward trajectory, things started spiralling downwards for Nonhle who appeared to be struggling to cope with life under the lime light.

Taking to Twitter, she had a complete meltdown and started ranting about all her riches.

MONEY, THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL?
Heading online this week, she opened up about how having too much money was the cause of her downfall.

“Too much money young turned me into a monster in my 20s. Money if you are not ready can be not good. Pray to understand money so it can be good to you.

“My father was very wealthy. I grew up in money. It was not new to me but when I made my own money I turned to be something else. Never be a slave to money, I think I was always trying to prove to my Dad that I was worthy. Now I know better. Money is to serve me, not the other way around,” she wrote.

A proud mom – Londie London, took to social media to celebrate her daughter’s birthday.

The reality star has two children with controversial businessman Hlubi Nkosi.The bubbly reality and influencer took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter’s birthday Bomikazi Sbani Nkosi who turned a year old, on 25 July 2023.


 

 

 

 

 

Taking it to Instagram, Londie London shared videos of her pregnancy journey to motherhood. Londie London also penned a heartfelt wish to her daughter as she turned one year old.

Londie London posted: “More Life to my baby girl Bomi(Life). You & mommy have been through so much together, and through it all, you’ve remained such a beautiful ray of sunshine in our lives. Mommy loves you so much. Happy 1st birthday, my Princess.”

South Africans quickly flooded into her comments section with birthday wishes. London and Nkosi welcomed their daughter in 2022, but their affair went south before the year ended.

Despite their affair being picture-perfect, the two called it quits after Hlubi Nkosi reportedly decided to take another wife.

Nonku Williams celebrated her son’s birthday by telling a miracle that happened when she gave birth to her son.

The Real Housewives of Durban reality star saw what she described as the real power of God six years ago.She said that the doctors had told her that she could not conceive because her eggs were rotten.


 

 

This shocked her because she had two beautiful children before her third son, Phendulile.

Having this background before having her son, Nonku is more than grateful and celebrates her son’s birthday in styleNo worries, celebrations are coming, but such a rich background is essential for anyone to understand.

After Nonku shared her testimony, it shocked many fans, and some were left saddened by it as they wished Phendulile a happy birthday.

“I probably have told this story so many times, but its amazes me every time….my journey to having you….
Not 1 but 3 Dr Specialist telling me of my inability to conceive…whereas I’ve had 2 beautiful children before you with no complications.” she said.

“I will never forget their words “your eggs are rotten…therefore even if you do conceive you would not be able to carry full term or if you do then your child would be a special case” Boy were they wrong! Two IVF’s that immensely failed became a reality for me that it was really impossible to fall pregnant again. I cried, I begged God and eventually accepted my fate….I would never be able to have more kids.” she continued. She spoke of how God did a miracle in her life. “BUT GOD….when I least expected it, the impossible happened! Because what is impossible with man is possible with God.6 months later I discovered I was pregnant…no IVF’s, no doctors just naturally pregnant! I remember that very day I found out…going secretly to my room, closing the door and sobbed and God told me to name you Phendulile for He had answered my prayer. I’ve never seen such a super intelligent 6 year old…My faith was renewed. I’m in awe at The Power of God, His immeasurable love and that indeed He is God Emmanuel!”

“Today not only do I celebrate you…but I also celebrate the purpose God has placed in you, I know you will do greater things and many lives will be touched through you and I believe God is going to use you mightily for His Kingdom. I love you my Royal Prince 🤴 now and forever ❤️ happy birthday my angel 😇 💙🎉🎈” she finished.

Psyfo Ngwenya: Where is former YoTV child star now?

Sipho Ngwenya popularly known as Psyfo is a renowned South African actor and musician who is known for his roles in Star Search, YoTV and Generations, just to name a few.

Despite cementing himself as a core part of South Africa’s childhood, the actor mysteriously disappeared from the front of the camera in 2014, forcing us to wonder where he may be now.

Psyfo started his career in 2006 as a presenter and producer for SABC 1’s YoTV. From 2006 to 2013, the media personality appeared in various acting soap operas and series, including Generations, Rockville, End Game, and Ekasi Love.

In between those years Psyfo also created his own record label company called, Sids Records where he recorded and produced music, as well as managing signed artists.

After mysteriously leaving the “limelight” in 2014 Psyfo ventured into behind the scenes producing, content management and concept development for the MultiChoice group.

After nine years at MultiChoice, the former actor then moved to Showmax where he now provides content related support to executive team as a Senior Manager.

In September 2022, Ngwenya announced that he graduated with an MBA from the University of Pretoria.In addition to a very successful career, the former YoTV presenter has also tied the knot and welcomed a son with his wife Aamirah.

Before getting married, Psyfo and Aamirah dated for five years and got married in November 2020 with close friends and family members in attendance, Times Live reported.

In October 2022, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy.
