Popular Mzansi actor SK Khoza has told what the late Shona Ferguson used to do to help him out. Mr Ferguson’s close friends and family had been remembering him on the day he passed on.

When remembering Shona, SK Khoza spoke at large about how Shona popped up in his dreams.

He showed another side that some fans imagined that Shona was why SK Khoza had a promising career.

Popular South African singer Kelly Khumalo is not in the business of entertaining anyone asking or trolling her about the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.

The Ngathwala Ngaye singer, who was present the fateful night her boyfriend at the time and the former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper was gunned down at her mother’s house in Vosloorus, told Twitter users where to get off (literally) when they asked about the recent developments in the trial.

On Thursday, 27 July, the State’s fourth witness, Colonel Lambertus Steyn, testified that he found two phone call records on one of Kelly Khumalo’s cellphones from a number linked to accused number five, Fisokuhle Ntuli. The first call was made on 2 August 2014, the other call was made on 15 October 2014 which is 11 days before Meyiwa was slain.

Steyn is a data analyst and investigation officer at the South African Police Services (SAPS) Cold Case Unit. He focused on cellphone data records of people who were with Meyiwa on the night he was killed.

He also established contact between suspects, Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya, Bongani Sandiso Ntanzi, Mthobisi Prince Mncube, and Sifisokuhle Nkani Ntuli – disputing their claims that they had not known each other.

Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya, Bongani Sandiso Ntanzi, Mthobisi Prince Mncube, Mthokoziseni Maphisa, and Sifisokuhle Nkani Ntuli are standing trial for premeditated murder, attempted murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, possession of firearms without a licence and possession of ammunition.

The court also heard that Meyiwa’s SIM card had been swapped a day after the incident and the new SIM card was used in former Kaizer Chiefs footballer David Mathebula’s handset.

Steyn found that eight calls were made between David Mathebula’s phone and Kelly Khumalo, he however said it could be an old phone in which they had inserted the SIM card. He also told the court he could not say who was making the calls as they were all “call forwards” meaning they were not picked up because the phone was off or the other phone had no signal.

When a Twitter user asked Kelly about her link to the accused, she responded: “Hamba uyozilahla okujuleni kolwandle”. Which loosely translates to “Go jump in the deepest part of the ocean.”

Makhadzi has shown her bold support for Jub Jub after the later was arrested late last week on a number of charges.

He was later released on bail after appearing before the courts.

Jub Jub stands accused of rape and this is not the first time that he has had a brush with the law.

In addition to the rape charges, he is also facing big charges of attempted rape and attempted murder.

But while fellow entertainers seem to be quiet about the unfolding drama, award winning musician and dancer Makhadzi has chosen not to remain silent.

Makhadzi has shown her support for Jub Jub and this is one of the most boldly declared show of unity from an artist.

Makhadzi quoted a few Bible verses and added, “I love you, my brother. I know we are not friends, but I am your supporter from a distance”.

Jub Jub is well known as the host of the highly popular shows Uyajola 9/9.

Some of the allegations reportedly come from his former girlfriend, actress Amanda Du-Pont.

Jub Jub has since broken his silence by posting a cryptic message on his social media platforms.
