Kaizer Chiefs legend Siphiwe Tshabalala celebrated his daughter’s birthday in style.

Siphiwe Tshabalala remains one of the finest players to wear the Black and yellow jersey.

 

 
He has established himself as a Bafana Bafana legend, and his 2010 World Cup goals made him even more famous.

Since his retirement in 2021, many fans have checked with him away from football.

Indeed, Tshabalala has a beautiful family; on 1 September 2023, he was celebrating one of his family members.

Sharing an excellent video on his Instagram, Tshabalala spoke of how much he loved his daughter in a few words.

The Miss South Africa 2010 had a lot to say celebrating her daughter’s birthday on 1 September 2023.

Like many South Africans, Mmusi Maimane was full of praise for the late Pick n Pay founder Raymond Ackerman. The respected retail businessman was known for his commitment to ethical business practises and job creation.

Ackerman died on Wednesday, 8 September, at the age of 92 years old.In a series of tweets, Mmusi Maimane – the Build One South Africa political party leader- shared his tribute to the Pick n Pay founder.

He posted on Twitter – or X.com: “South Africa has lost a giant with the passing of Raymond Ackerman. His impact on retail and his contribution to the South African economy will never be forgotten”.

In another tweet, Mmusi revealed how Raymond had contributed to his own homeHe continued: “My mother worked as a cashier at Pick and Pay, and she was able to provide for her family because of the employment that his company created.

Mmusi went on to list Raymond’s business and charity endeavors, which were both equally successful. He also reflected on Ackerman’s anti-Apartheid stance.

He added: “Ackerman fought constantly against the Group Areas Act, stating that it was unjust, unfair and inhumane. During the Apartheid era, he provided housing loans to staff and educational grants to his staff and their children to encourage university education when such opportunities were not open to black children.“Raymond fought tirelessly for the rights of consumers, pioneering cheaper house brands and sparking a fight with the government to supply cheaper petrol to consumers.”

In 2010, Raymond’s son Gareth succeeded him as the chairman of Pick n Pay. The retail group has close to 2,000 stores in Sub-Saharan Africa.

TV host Nick Cannon seems to be the one having the last laugh. After facing scrutiny for having 12 children from six women, he took to social media to poke fun at paying child support.

This comes after Cannon’s “baby mama” Bre Tiesi revealed that because he has more than 10 children, he could be able to say that he cannot afford to pay child support. This was on an episode of Selling Sunset season six, where she stars. Cannon and Bre have a one-year-old son named Legendary Love together.

“The way it works is like, after 10, the court can basically say he can’t afford to pay child support,” she said to co-star Amanza Smith on season six of Selling Sunset according to Page Six.

However, she hinted that the rule may not apply to him because he is wealthy. This comes after the TV host revealed he makes more than $100 million R1.8 billion) a year.

“Because he is who he is, they could say, ‘We know you can afford X amount for each household,” she continued.
