Skeem Saam actor Putla Sehlapelo joins Queen Modjadji.

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela recently reported that actor Putla Sehlapelo, known for his role in “Skeem Saam,” will be playing the character of Ramulodi in the upcoming drama series “Queen Modjadji.” This news has been confirmed by Sunday World, which also reveals that Sehlapelo’s character is the keeper of the secret and the king’s keeper.

 
Sehlapelo will be starring alongside Makoma Mohale, who is known for her role in “Scandal!” and will be portraying the character of Queen Modjadji, also known as The Rain Queen. The series will revolve around the life of Queen Modjadji and her reign.In addition to Sehlapelo and Mohale, the series will also feature beauty queens Shudu Musida and Ndavi Nokeri, both hailing from the Limpopo province. Nokeri will be playing the role of Muthanoni Khensani, one of Queen Modjadji’s wives from the Tsonga Royal Family. Musida, on the other hand, will portray Muthanoni Mulalo, another wife from the Venda Royal Family.

Appreciation post to Ntate Boikie Pholo 🙏 He was born on 8 March 1940 in Orkney, North West of South Africa. Unlike many old guards in the entertainment industry, he didn’t grow up confined to acting. Rather he was a teacher and was enrolled at Batswana College in Johannesburg.
