American rapper and singer Missy Elliott — real name Melissa Arnette Elliott had X (the social media platform formally known as Twitter) buzzing on Wednesday, 27 September after giving international disc jockey Lungelihle Zwane aka Uncle Waffles her flowers.

Missy Elliott is one of America’s female rap icons from the late 1990s to early 2000s. She’s best known for her hit songs Hot Boyz, Work It, Get Ur Freak On, and more. She recently took to her timelines and boasted about having seen Uncle Waffles perform which had South African netizens’ jaws-dropped.

She hinted about working on something with Uncle Waffles and also teased about coming to South Africa soon.

‘Our domestic worker’s 7th child’: Amy Kleinhans-Curd on fostering

On the latest episode of Real Housewives van die Wynlande (RHOWL), Amy Kleinhans-Curd opened up about fostering her daughter Gugu. Amy and her husband Leighton Curd fostered a now 38-year-old Gugu from the age of nine.

THE FORMER MISS SA ON MARRYING A ‘FOREIGNER‘
This comes after Amy opened up about “marrying a foreigner” on the first episode of the Afrikaans series.

Amy is married to New Zealand businessman Leighton Curd. The pair have been married for 28 years and have four children – Gugu (38), Phillipa (24), Thomas (22) and Georgia (16) and two grandchildren.

Gugu from the age of nine and she has two sons – Kgosi and Thoriso, who she shares with husband Kgpolo Makgate. The two children call Amy their Gogo, which means grandmother.

“I’ve been married to Leighton Curd for 28 years now. He is a New Zealander. When he asked me to marry him, Nelson Mandela said ‘why are you marrying a foreigner?’. After that he called me and told me ‘I’ve worked it out’,” she said.

And fans of the mother-of-three are likely jumping to conclusions on who Kelly is referring to.

According to Zimoja, Kelly gave birth to her third child – allegedly by Mthokozisi Yende – back in April.The secretive couple has reportedly kept their romance off social media.

Kelly also has a son Christian with ex-boyfriend Jub Jub and a daughter Thingo, with the late Orlando Pirates soccer star Senzo Meyiwa.

MaMkhize and Mpisane were married since 1991 but news of their divorce surfaced in 2018. MaMkhize said that her husband loved himself so no one cared for her on an episode of her reality show.

“I think the small problem that led my marriage to divorce was that Sbu loved himself. I also loved Sbu. So, no one cared for me. As time went by, in the process I ended up losing myself. Right now I’m trying to find myself and regain and find my identity,” she said.

Mpisane was once known as richest cops in Durban because of MaMkhize’s business. He was a Metro police constable but he later resigned and joined MaMkhize’s construction business.
