On social media, Monique Muller was attacked by South Africans who blamed her baby daddy drama with Katlego Maboe on her coloured race.

Clapping back on her Instagram Stories on Friday, 1 September, Monique had a message to her critics.

She said: “This is going to upset a lot of people that I don’t care. Let’s discuss racism …because racism applies when people want it to apply, they will make it applicable to a situation.

She continued: “Y’all like to talk smack about colored people and be like, this is why you shouldn’t be dating a colored woman….but because it’s colored people, we don’t get offended?

“If we were saying this about a black woman, we would be at war…There would be a war on racism right now”.

Monique claims that after their split, Katlego gave notice to their apartment, essentially evicting her and their infant son.

She said: “And this was all while y’all were thinking this was your superhero of the year while he had his baby mama and son out on the street.”

Monique also claims that during one particularly rough patch, she had asked Katlego to send his son extra food and help with electricity.

She added: “He did nothing. He just posts Bible quotes.”Monique claimed that Katlego has many income streams despite him stating in court documents that he would be “unemployed from August.”

Living a lavish lifestyle while his child “suffers”

She posted: “How can your expenses range 150k and not even a third of that goes to your child? You rock the latest brands, but shop at Pep for your child and not even clothing that currently fits him. Are you not embarrassed as a parent?”

Only paying half of private school fees

Monique claims Katlego Maboe does not want his son to go to a government school despite her financial constraints.

Talented actor Nkanyiso Mchunu, who portrayed Umkhokha: The Curse’s most-hated character Mlungisi has secured a role in My Brother’s Keeper.Fans of the former Imbewu: The Seed and Umkhokha: The Curse actor Nkanyso Mchunu has landed a role in Rhythm World’s upcoming telenovela My Brother’s Keeper.


 

 

Mchunu will star alongside his former Imbewu co-stars Vuyiseka Cawe and Raphael Griffiths as well as The Estate stars Sparky Xulu and Sdumo Mtshali and many more.

Though it is unclear what character he will play at this stage, fans of the actor are thrilled to know that he’s secured another character after his popular role Mlungisi got killed in Mzansi Magic’s faith-based telenovela Umkhokha: The CurseIOL reports that My Brother’s Keeper focuses on a story about the corrupting nature of greed and tells the tale of a family drawn into a deadly succession battle of its own making.

The upcoming telenovela, which has replaced Gomora will also focus on Nqubeko, played by Uzalo’s Wiseman Mncube, who is a headstrong and overambitious son of a mistress who is tired of being side-lined by his father.

“Nqubeko decides to break the rules of ‘ukungena’ by going after his brother’s widow, Fakazile (played by Zola Nombona), the woman who holds the controlling power to the Shabalala family empire,” reports the publication.

My Brother’s Keeper premiers on Mzansi Magic (Channel 161) from Monday 23 October at 7:30pm.
