After two no-shows at the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court, former ‘Generations’ actress and now businesswoman, Nomthandazo Sonia Mbele finally showed up.

On October 5, Mbele was granted by the court the last opportunity to attend the proceedings. Mbele and her fellow directors of Real Housewives of South Africa (Pty) Ltd, Yolisa Gqunta and Rebone Sesing had been charged for contravening the Tax Administration Act.

 

 

 

 

 

On Friday, Mbele made it court and paid an admission of guilt fine and did not contest the allegations levelled against her. Mbele paid R41,000 – R1,000 per each count.

, hereby admit guilt to the charges specified in Counts 1 to 41, as mentioned in the attached charge sheet, and tender the admission of guilt fine referred to in the charge sheet,” read the acknowledgement of guilt in the court papers.On her last missed court appearance, Mbele had submitted a medical certificate for the second time, citing ill health.

In a statement, Mbele explained that she was currently still getting treatment for work burnout which had turned chronic.

Well-known South African singer and reality TV star, Kelly Khumalo has disappointed ex-lover and celebrity traditional doctor Zamokwakhe “Bhaka” Nzama.Kelly Khumalo has allegedly spurned an invitation to be among the VIP guests at Bhaka’s birthday bash. But through her manager Khothatso Tsotetsi, Khumalo has denied ever receiving Bhaka’s invite or booking.“Kelly was not aware of this event and she never received the booking. In fact, she was in Bloemfontein on Saturday and she had no commitments in Durban. It’s the first time we hear about Bhaka’s event,” Tsotetsi said.

Bhaka insisted that he booked Khumalo: “I booked Kelly Khumalo through her sister, Zandie Khumalo-Gumede. I felt sorry for her because she was being cancelled everywhere.

“So, Zandie and her husband, Mhlo Gumede, asked me to include Kelly in the line-up.

“I even paid the deposit for Kelly Khumalo. Unfortunately, I cannot disclose proof of payments as they are confidential documents. I was also confused when she did not come.”

Mhlo was approached but he referred the questions back to Bhaka.

Mkokstad – real name Mdumiseni Nzimande – married Dr Ziphozenkosi in June 2019. The woman said that artist is married to the wrong woman and that she is the right person for him.We contacted Dumi and he had no knowledge of the woman. We then took her to the police station for her safety.

“I believe she was sent back to Johannesburg and we’ve never heard of her since then.”

Last year, another woman, this time from East London, showed up and claimed she was Mkokstad’s wife. The woman also had a framed photo of herself and the musician which Nzimande suspects was shot at one of his son’s events. She was also taken to the police station for her safety.

Mkokstad told the publication that the last woman took it a step further when she was turned back by his dad and found her way to his wife’s family home in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.Mkokstad and his wife’s fairytale wedding in 2019 was marred by drama as a woman named Amanda Bhengu went to the papers and accused him of cheating on her. The woman claimed that she and the singer were engaged and living together.

Addressing the claims in July 2019 during their interview on Afternoon Express, Mkokstad said that he did not know who the woman was.

“The controversy was that there was this lady, apparently, who went to a newspaper and said I had promised to marry her and I left on Thursday morning saying that I am going to shoot a music video. I’m related with the Bhengu people. I don’t know who she is. She sent the media a WhatsApp conversation. I do not have WhatsApp, I haven’t had WhatsApp since 2014 for privacy reasons.
