Only King MisiZulu ka Zwelithini’s mother, Queen Zola Mafu, attended his coronation.

Misizulu Sinqobile Hlomesakhishlangu kaZwelithini was crowned yesterday as the new king of the Zulu people, marking a significant historical moment. He is the first Zulu monarch since his father, the late King Goodwill Zwelithini, was crowned in December 1971.

 

 

 

Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, the President, has officially acknowledged Misizulu kaZwelithini as the legitimate heir to the Zulu throne. After the formal ritual is over, Ramaphosa will officially crown the new monarch as King of the Zulu people by presenting him with a certificate.

Andiswa Jali, a stunning Zulu woman, recently made headlines after she spoke out against King Zwelithini’s treatment of his wives. She wrote on Twitter, “Ndlunkulu ka Mafu Zulu was the only mother to come to support King Misizulu, and he is grateful to her.” The beautiful Queen Zola Mafu is King Zwelithini’s sixth wife.
