Melita’s assassination is one of the most surprising events in recent memory. Melita is a thorn in the side, and she’s only gotten worse since the tender fiasco began. Since crossing the Meikie and John Maputla, her list of adversaries has increased.

Melita was shot in the chest the last time we saw her, and she was laying in a pool of blood. This is the most surprising event that has happened, and we’re all trying to figure out and answer the question of who shot Melita and why. Let’s go over the list of suspects without spending any more time.

 

 

 

 

 
1. Maputla, Meikie

Mrs. Maputla was the first person that came to mind. Melita was shot a few days after she was freed from prison. We all know Meikie wants to shoot Melita for a variety of reasons.

She had a tumultuous and public relationship with John Maputla. Melita was also one of the instigators of the community rallies against Meikie Maputla, and she initiated the famous Maputla Yellow file.

Isn’t it enough of a motive for Meikie to want her dead? But not right now. Remember that Meikie no longer has the gun; the cops took it away from her, and that at the time of Melita’s shooting, she was sitting in her living room with John, watching TV; and that Meikie would never risk returning to that prison for anything, especially after fighting so hard for her appeal.

2. Maputla, John

John does not want Meikie to be released from prison, and he will go to any length to keep her there. He can’t even hide his dissatisfaction with her freedom. Although John was present when Melita was shot, is it possible that he paid someone else to do it?

3. Alfred and Celia Magongwa

Celia and Alfred Magongwa are the next two people that want Melita dead. Melita is aware that they lied about the University tender, and she discovered that Magongwa was the one who wore those hideous shoes in the field after witnessing Alfios accepting a bribe. The Magongwa just have one problem: they don’t own a gun, and they have nothing to gain by killing the elite at this time because the tender case has gone cold.

Octavia and Jonathan are number four.

Octavia and Johnathan have been tasked with bringing Meikie to justice. These two have an odd obsession with Meikie. They planned to assassinate MaNtuli in order for Meikie to spend the rest of her life in prison. They undoubtedly anticipated that by shooting Melita, they would be able to frame Meikie more effectively.

Melita is merely a bystander.

Melita’s shooting may or may not have anything to do with Melita, but it most certainly does with Meikie.
