‘SLEEP EASY: NTSIKI MAWAZI’S GRANDFATHER DIES
Ntsiki and Thandiswa Mazwai were comforted by their fans and social media followers after announcing that they were mourning their late grandfather who had recently passed away. They prayed that he be reunited with his family members who have already passed away.

“Sleep easy. Bless us plenty. Protect us like a villain. Guide us firmly. I love you so much… We already miss you. My grandad reunites with his soulmate, Ncinci. We bury you today, but it’s a wedding in heaven,” Ntsiki said as she posted a photo of her late grandfather. “Rest easy Tat’okhulu [grandfather]. You are now reunited with the love of your life,” Thandiswa said on her feed.

Although the sisters are popular for their music, they have also been open about their spirituality. In 2021, Ntsiki took to Instagram and revealed that she was undergoing training to become a sangoma. Meanwhile, in a previous Twitter post, Thandiswa shared that although she didn’t have the power to heal, she occasionally rubs shoulders with sangomas.

According to Britannica, a sangoma is a highly respected traditional healer who diagnoses, prescribes, and often performs rituals to heal a person physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually.“Condolences to you and the family may he rest in peace,” @anicagrange wrote.

“May his beautiful soul rest in peace perfect peace. I’m so sorry for your loss ❤️❤️❤️,” @da_realghosti commented.
