Uzalo affirms Nompilo, Menzi’s exit!

Early this week, Day to day Sun revealed the claims of their exit, however, the show declined to affirm them.

As indicated by a joint proclamation, the characters, played by Nompilo Maphumulo and Menzi Biyela, wouldn’t be essential for season 9 – beginning one year from now.

“SABC 1 and Uzalo might want to authoritatively declare that our key characters, Nosipho and Minister Gwala, will leave the well known soapie toward the start of season 9, which will make a big appearance right on time one year from now,” read the proclamation.

 

SABC 1 acting head of channel Thuli Nhlapo said the entertainers did a dazzling presentation.

“We need to take our caps off to heavenly exhibitions from Nosipho and Menzi throughout the long term. Their depiction of Nosipho and Minister Gwala will always be implanted in the hearts and brains of our watchers,” said Thuli.

Uzalo maker Ruler David Mukwevho said they were respected to have worked with them.

“Nompilo has been an indispensable piece of Uzalo since season 1. She has presented to us a noteworthy interpretation of Nosipho that the fans will always remember. Also, Menzi’s depiction of Minister Gwala has been absolutely commendable. Our watchers love them, thus do we. We want them to enjoy all that life has to offer on their future undertakings
