Nonkanyiso LaConco bags new hosting gig

Nonkanyiso Conco, aka LaConco, is ending off 2021 on a high after securing a new hosting gig.

The ‘Real Housewives of Durban’ star is set to host ‘Ingane Yam’. According to entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela, the show has been renewed for a second season.

Mzansi Magic will air season two in 2022.

‘Ingane Yam’ premiered in October. The reality show helps parents introduce their children from previous relationships to their current family.

“It zooms in on the big question – why parents hide children from their past and how their families react to the big reveal of the child, who until this point has been an outsider. It is also set to evoke the emotions of the viewers as it shows how children suffer by being denied their true identity and how they deal with rejection from people who should be taking care of them,” Mzansi Magic said about the show.

LaConco will be taking over the reins from ‘Real Housewives of Johannesburg’ star, Lethabo ‘Lejoy’ Mathatho.
