Nomzamo Mbatha’s star just seems to keep rising and rising. The actress is set to star in a new movie “Soul Assassin'” alongside Bruce Willis. Soul assassin is a revenge thriller film set to be released in 2022.

The star just comes from debuting in her first American film “Coming 2 America” where she starred alongside Hollywood royalty like Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall. She played the character ” Mirembe” the royal barber who falls in love with the new king.

Nomzamo Mbatha is a South African actress who hails from Durban, KwaMashu where she was born and raised until she went to Cape Town to study a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Cape Town.

Her career in the entertainment industry started in 2012 when she auditioned in MTV’s presenter search. She then went on to audition for the role of Thandeka in Isibaya which she got. Ever since then South African audiences have been captivated by her personality and breath-taking beauty.

Nomzamo has stared in a number of local series and tv productions including Umlilo which played on etv and a local film “Tell me Sweet Something” where she starred alongside Maps Maponyane.

Along with being a phenomenal actress Nomzamo Mbatha has sunk her teeth into being a change maker .She has partnered with organizations such as UNCHR which she is the ambassador. UNCHR helps refugees .In 2018 she spent time touring Kenyan refugee camps and also delivered a TEDx talk.

She also has her own foundation(The Nomzamo Lighthouse Foundation) and in partnership with Hollywood Bets she has helped countless of students around South Africa pay off their outstanding debts towards their university fees. She is currently in partnership with Cotton On Africa to refurbish and rebuild the Dr JL Dube High School in Soweto.
