When the blessings start pouring in, there is no stopping them, all you can do sit back and take it all in. This is the case for the talented vocalist, Nomcebo Zikode. A year ago, she was relatively known in the entertainment industry, until she was featured by Master KG on his global hit track “Jerusalema”.
Since then, Nomcebo has enjoyed exposure to international and local fame, her feature on the track even attracted the attention of Nathi Mthethwa, the South African Minister of Arts & Culture. The honourable Minister even bestowed the honour of appointing her and Master KG Ambassadors To The World under the DSAC Cultural Diplomacy Programme.
Uma sekulunga kubasengathi akukaze kubhede 😭💚
God is indeed good🙌🏻, my first song ever where I’m not featured to go Gold, thank you so much @MasterKGsa @OpenMicProdSA and everyone else together we’ve done it again #XolaMoyawamWentGold 📀
And now, the singer can add another achievement to her growing musical career, her song “Xola Moya Wam” just went Gold. In a Tweet she said.
” Uma sekulunga kubasengathi akukaze kubhede (When things go right, it seems as though things had never gone wrong)
Master KG was also very happy for the singer and expressed his admiration and affection for her in a touching, quoted Tweet.
t’s no doubt that the artists have a very successful work-relationship together, despite the challenges that have faced the entertainment industry due to COVID-19 and their snub by the South African Music Awards, they have managed to go against all odds to come out on top. Nomcebo’s talents are now exposed to the world and written in Mzansi history books, for a newcomer to have such exposure, be recognised by an international music company like Shazam and be on the same track as a global superstar like Burna Boy is truly a blessing she shouldn’t take for granted.
Her fans had nothing but blessings for her and rightfully so.
