Not only is she a regular singer but the recent hit she worked on with Master KG, Jerusalema, has placed her as one of the greatest musicians in the whole world. Nomcebo Zikode is a South African singer, song-writer and a performer as well. She made her debut in the entertainment industry in 2003 when she appeared on the talent search that was being run by Ukhozi FM.

Before this hit, Jerusalema, a lot of people didn’t know her, but she received so much love and support from fans all around the world for her great work.

She was born and raised in Hammersdale, KwaZulu Natal. However, she later on in life moved to Johannesburg where is now staying.

Nomcebo Zikode Education

She went to Ukusa High School in KZN.

Just after completing her matric, she left her home in search of a career in music and that’s how she found herself in Johannesburg.

Nomcebo then enrolled at Havatech College where she obtained a qualification in Information Technology.

According to her Facebook profile, she is reportedly in a relationship with one by the name of Selwyn Fraser.

When she appeared on that talent search by Ukhozi FM in 2003, she became the winner and some of the runner ups were the likes of Nhlanhla Nciza, Lundi, Kholeka, and Zahara.

She then got to team with DJ Ganyani and they both produced, ‘Emazulwini’. She also got to be signed as an artist under Open Mic Records and this meant the start of her solo career. The record even got to be nominated at the SAMAs.
