The popular reality show that aires on Mzansi Magic has been renewed yet again for another season due to the rise in demand for the entertainment provided by that family. Ever since it aired, viewers have been given centre stage to follow the lives of the family which includes their ups and downs, but most importantly how well rounded business people they are. As revealed by entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, the show is expected to return to your screens starting from the 6th of January next year at 8pm. There’s a lot of family dynamics that you can expect considering the fact that Dineo Ranaka has just added a new member to the family. During the previous season of the show we have experienced sibling rivalry and the pregnancy of Manaka and her daughter.

What to expect form this season:

As aforementioned, you are going to be spoilt with good entertainment to start of the year on a high note. Based on the report which was released by Phil, you can expect the following events to take place:

— Ntate Ranaka is on the search for his estranged sister to fill the family tree that aims to compartmentalize the historic events that took place in the family.

— The trials of running businesses during the pandemic. As we all know, our lives have been completely turned upside down ever since the outbreak of the pandemic.

— Manaka which is popularly known for her long standing role on Generations the legacy will be venturing into starting a farming business. She has definitely shown her love for agriculture in the previous season, it makes sense.

OPINION

Out of every reality show that i have watched in the past, the Ranaka’s takes the cup for me. I think this is what’s viewers like the most about the show, the raw talent that is portrayed instead of being filled with scripts taking away it’s authenticity. We get to relate on so many things including the sibling rivalry between Mpumi and Dineo. More than anything we get to see the other side of the story that is not covered enough by the media. Dineo is one of my favorites, her wisdom and energy is unmatched.
