Nadia Nakai is from South Africa and has been performing for quite some time. Last year, in 2022, she supposedly began dating AKA.

At the time of the rapper’s death, she was still dating the late Kiernan “AKA” Forbes. Now, she has spoken out about his passing. In the evening of Sunday, February 19th, she turned to Instagram to share a series of images and video clips of herself and her late partner at happier times, along with an emotional text detailing her loss and how broken her heart is.

 

 

Since AKA’s death, Nadia has been silent. In the time since her spouse was murdered, she has been seen publicly weeping on social media but has said nothing. At his memorial service, Nadia was not only not allowed to speak, but she was also not given a platform from which to address the attendees.
