Nelson Mandela is the root of South Africa’s economic scramble, says Advocate Talent Rusere

The biggest challenge facing South Africa since their so called freedom from the Apartheid in 1994 is the legacy of the past. A Pre-Election deal that Nelson Mandela (ANC) signed with the Boer’s capitalist President (De Klerk) which was set to pocket-feed Nelson Mandela and the ANC political elite while maintaining the colonial capitalist policies to secure the ill-gotten legacies of the (Afrikaans speaking) Dutch citizens who had killed millions of black people and illegally took their country for nearly 50 bloody years, looting and plundering national resources.

The 1990 deal matured in 1994 when the agreement between ANC’s Nelson Mandela and the (NP) National party (former colonisers) was officially signed prior to the first Democratic election in South Africa ever. This was the first time that black South Africans were allowed to vote for over 50 years of slavery. The agreement was to ensure that no socialist policies would be implemented under the rule of ANC. Thereby ensuring total control of the country’s economy.

Mandela was a Key-hypocryte in making such a deal possible because, despite of his 27 years of imprisonment,he was remarkably free of bitterness (pure hypocrisy). From nowhere Mandela had to put aside the long history of humiliation and violence against black people that he was the one to convince the colonisers that his ANC would never implement socialist policies such as redistribute or re-allocate farms and the Boer’s ill-gotten wealth to the long suffering black South Africans.

By having this toxic and barbaric deal signed, Mandela infringed the constitutional right of South Africans to a free economy and gave white colonisers an upper hand and a legal say in the ANC government which is still South Africa’s biggest challenge today. The agreement to suppress the economic freedom of South Africans by ANC clearly reflects that the economic power is still wielded by the (Former Colonisers) white minority. After all the main motive behind South Africa’s colonisation was the keeping of economic power. I am not ashamed to call Mandela a sellout and most cruel black man Africa ever had.

It’s so sad that the 1994 election results only gave black people power and nothing else changed from the ownership of farming lands, gold mines and even the settlement policies. Those who were relocated to squatter sattlements during the Apartheid are still living there in the so called independent South Africa, Those families who where working in farms during the Apartheid are still there working for the very same families. South Africa is still colonized and it’s so very sad to believe that the people of South Africa are too ignorant to realize this reality.
