Nelisiwe Faith Sbiya is a South African musician and an actress. On 9th of April 2021, Zikomo Awards crowned Nelisiwe the best actress in South Africa. Nelisiwe Faith Sbiya was born on 13 September 1992.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Her mother who was known as Dudu has unfortunately died. Nelisiwe had an older sister who was a musician. Thabisile taught Nelisiwe how to sing before she died.

Nelisiwe Sbiya had to repeat grade 3 because she could not go to school for two years and her mother had no money to send her. In January 2015, Nelisiwe Sbiya got accepted to study musician studies at TUT.

Nelisiwe could not go to University because her mother did not have the money. Sbiya saved up from the different gigs she got through her singing. She used the money she had saved to build a home for her mother. However, after managing to build a house, her mother passed away.
