Just a few days ago, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi and Fikile Mbalula were embroiled in an ugly war on Twitter. Ndlozi went as far as labeling Mbalula as a fool. The way the war was so bad, we never thought these two would ever make peace. However, today Ndlozi sent Mbalula a very sweet message as it is the Secretary General’s birthday. “Happy Birthday SG @MbalulaFikile. May God bless you and grant you many years, full of peace and tranquillity”, Ndlozi said. To this, Mbalula responded by saying, “Thank you Ndlozi, treat everyday as my birthday and be nice like this”.

 

 

 
This was actually sweet of Ndlozi. It shows that there is a human being behind that political figure. When the two fight on social media, one would think that if they meet on the streets, grass won’t ever grow on that place because of the fight that may start. Well, looks like they might actually shake hands and exchange hugs when they meet.

When it comes to political matters, the two are like a cat and a mouse but it looks like in real life they are civil. People even thought the message from Ndlozi was some sort of a prank since it’s April fools day, but it turns out Ndlozi meant every word he said. Never trust politicians, they can make you take sides and end up fighting with each other while they are actually at peace with each other.
